I do not know about ChurchMouseGuy. I take it he is your BFF but you are traveling a path without knowing where it goes.

I suppose if ChurchMouseGuy is banned then he had to get warning points. That, to my knowledge, is how it works (4 points = ban until a point drops off).

But you have to violate rules intentionally (often after a warning) to get a point (or a really offensive statement).

Most of the time things like slander, name calling, ect. is just edited out and no warnings are given.

    I will look and see.

LOL. Now at least we can see the editorializing.

    But I didn't disparage the Presidency. I disparaged Biden. There's a difference.

I know he's kind of tired of your sanctimonious heavy-handedness, as are we all. It remains to be seen if your biases are written into BB policy.

If CMG were my ‘BFF’ I think I might have his email, whereupon I could check to see if he was OK. A wellness check, so to speak. That is my concern, as a brother, you know.

Church Mouse Guy is in his late 70's and hasn't been around lately.
    Maybe he is sick.
    Why not pray for him?

If you don't know about how he is doing why stab him?

He is able to defend himself but has not as far as I know.

There are several I am concerned about. We have a lot of aging members, and members in poor health.

My point with CMG is I never had an issue with him. He made several inappropriate posts, they were edited, no warnings or points given. He thought (thinks) I am a Democrat (which is a bit mindblowing, if you knew me).

You and I (to my knowledge) never bumped heads... at least not hard. So your comments just took me a little off guard.

But yes, I do edit inappropriate posts, often withoutcwarnings/ points when I believe no warning/ point needs to be given.

This was less an issue (IMHO) when it took 10 warning points for a member to be automatically (temporally) banned. But now it takes 4 warning points.

I have only issued points that temporarily banned 1 member since I have been on staff, and that one bothered me (and it was resended).

This excludes the spammers. They get permanently banned.

I suppose I could go back to warning points for every infraction, but given it only takes 4 I believe it extreme.

No problem. I do not make the rules (otherwise several "other denominations" would not be here) and many are spread out on "stickys", not in one place as they probably should be.

I did not know there was anything between @Wingman68 and me. Live & learn, I guess. ;)

Based upon what I can tell, it's a difference the BB moderators don't recognize since Joe Biden is President and making a dispariging remark about him is therefore making a dispariging remark about the Presidency.
