How sad it is when christians can't have a mature out of the box debate on important topics. Its always right vs left, conservative versus liberal, Obama this Obama that. Whats with all the garbage(when I say garbage I mean Neocon misinformation). Then we have moderators who are not moderators. The term mod means middle or centre. Not to take a right or left side. So they can't handle the direction of the debate or cave in to some right wing whacko tantrum. This topic is locked Signed ShinningLight.

Boo, Hoo, Hoo. How about some cheese with that whine. How's that for debate skills?

"Boo, Hoo, Hoo. How about some cheese with that whine. How's that for debate skills"
Now I understand why General Lee surrendered at Appomattox. Poor Traveller should have been put down at the same time. -
Moderators who lock forums on a whim are called one thing......they're called communists...plain and simple. The make KGB agents look like missionaries. In fact "lock up moderators who lock up because it suits their own personal needs" are just as bad as the Gestapo burning books in Berlin. They want to "destroy open thought" and 'free speech". Lady Eagle is a hippocrite.....from one christian to another.......in my opinion....with all due respect.

I think it's time for the communist to shut down this thread and ban a certain comrade. The northern air, bear hunting and seal meat has gone to his head.

Sorry Sag38, how the truth hurts. Just shut it down. Just like the Chineese government. Shut down the truth. Shut down freedom of speech. Shut down human spirit and shut down free thought. Shut down free debate.
Both my grandfathers fought against communism in Europe and many of their family and friends lost their lives..................so you and Lady Eagle can shut it down. -
Actually I guess I should have said the providence of the US called Canada. -

In IMO I feel a moderator should guard against profanity, gross impoliteness, slander, and personal attacks ... and this should be done on an even-handed basis. I do not believe they should close a thread simply because they disagree, even disagree to a great degree, with what someone is saying as long as they are saying it politely and rationally. If a moderator wants to comment then they should put in a disclaimer saying they are stepping outside the role of moderating on that post. For the most part I feel the moderators do a good job.

Matt, why don't you go back to hunting cottonmouths in the swamp. It seems the best serpants come from Florida.

Is there a whole forum locked, where, which one?

shining with two n's...
News flash: This board isn't run by the government. There is no guarantee of freedom of speech on a private board. The owner can restrict speech on a whim. If you don't like it, there are lots of other boards out there.
I don't always agree with moderator actions, but I try to show enough maturity and principle to address them privately, rather than throw a public tantrum.
BTW...your attacks seem to be increasingly infantile in nature. Is that kind of talk really necessary on a Christian board? -
There are a couple that do this particularly well...(let us know that they are "taking off" a mod hat and "putting on" a poster hat).
And yep, moderators mess up. They're human. -
Now we've crossed the line into just plain silliness.
BTW...repeatedly dogging and insulting a moderator isn't good form, it isn't good manners, it doesn't reflect well on the name of Christ, and it probably won't keep you around for long. -
I checked no forums are locked, op is missleading.

Fishy...
The great thing about America is that you can disagree with me. The sad thing is that we are quickly losing this freedom. It is falling pray to a socialist program under the guise of health care.
All we need is a good crisis...
It just seems our govt. more and more identifies everything as a crisis.
Somebody get me a copy of our Constitution and show me how abortion is an example of protecting the general welfare...
While your at it, show me where that same document guarantees me to acheive an errant view of success and longevity.
Sorry, I'm laid off now and have too much time to spend with my computer:type: can't even afford to drive my klunker to the korner so American taxpayers can subsidize my trade in.
Should have become a car salesman...oh, yeah, while I am at it, I just want to say that anything that is not worth doing right is not worth doing, if the reading and understanding of the proposed health bill in various congressional committees is not a worthy undertaking, then I am certain it is not worthy for Americans to accept any legislation according to the same reasoning.
Now, an official FISHY post.
Notice the shades? They are in the topic line, well I have followed the directions of my right wing extremist leader, time for me to go back to:sleeping_2:
