This Psychiatrist nails the mass killing issue

Thank you for posting the link.

I'm glad that someone is speaking out that there's more to what's happening than "guns". It's time we, as a society, address the real issues, instead of blaming an inert object.

However, I'm afraid that won't happen. We're too far down the path to return to the days of "Father Knows Best". Too many, carrying news cameras, want to focus on every tear of grief that's shed. Too many step beyond the bounds of common decency to grab the almighty dollar. Too few parents realize the effect of cheap babysitters (media) while they chase their own goals for success.

I went to sleep last night with the TV on. Woke up and saw an ad for sex toys from a company called Adam and Eve. That says a lot about the world we live in today.

May God have mercy on us all.

the bottom line is still:

1. It's a fallen world with fallen creatures who make lives miserable for each other;
2. man is fallen and it's all about my, me, mine, I.

Thank you for posting this!

If the subject were not so deadly serious and important, I'd be enjoying the squirming of most of The View ladies because this completely undercuts their worldview.

He brought up a good point about the media and their treatment of such events.

We should remember that what happened at Sandy Hook is not a national event. It is something to which the authorities in Newton, Fairfield county and the state of Connecticut are responsible to respond. Not D.C.
