Obama rips "R" Presidential candidates
From the link:
"We don't believe in the kind of smallness that says it's okay for a stage full of political leaders -- one of whom could end up being the president of the United States -- being silent when an American soldier is booed. We don't believe in that," said Obama to loud cheers and a standing ovation.
The POTUS is not exactly correct. Yes, the crowd did boo, but not because he was an American solider, but because he was a homosexual.
Isn't it wonderful that delegates at the DNC haven't ever booed?
To boo or not too boo

Regardless, it was an American serviceman putting his life on the line for us all. Way to support our troops. Inexcusable.

Inexcusable -
Don't ya just love the worlds infatuation with Sodomites? -
-
Same support?
If not, one has been hoodwinked into accepting sodomites.
Frog in kettle? -
So it is alright to be disrespectful of someone who is in mortal danger everyday to protect you? Hatred like this reflected here is one reason that Baptists are viewed by society at large as judgmental, intolerant bigots. Regardless of your view of his orientation, it is a disgrace the way this crowd of hateful tea partiers acted. Obama is correct. People can disagree without acting childish and hateful.
-
I suppose you guys only want service people who are just like you? Then you should volunteer to do what this soldier did...serve in Iraq.
-
I disagree with the lifestyle, no matter what the liberals, world, the polically correct, other Baptists want to call me, or cast me as being full of hate.
Are the Scriptures being childish and hateful in condemning this? Are the ones who openly accept and rebuke this childish? Is that how we now label those who openly and passionately reject what the world tolerates in favor of truth?
Looks like the truth is being mocked here more than anything else. I guess truth is becoming embarassing to some. -
Would you also support the pedophile in uniform?
It won't be much longer, they'll be tolerated too, and "folks like us" will be called "haters."
I wonder if they called Lot's household haters? -

To me, truth comes first. And I'll uphold it above and beyond our own countries wishes, as to obey God first is Scriptural.
Who said Lot was a moral example?
What you are positing and embracing is the slippery slope of a world system, while failing to uphold truth in the face of opposition.
I mean, one wouldn't want to be called a hater and persecuted, right?
You need to perhaps read the news, as your world is attempting to get the ball rolling to favor pedophiles.
By the way, most "impulses" against children are h*m*s*exual pedos who offend against same sex. But hey, slap a uniform on them and all is good. -
But if the report stated "The most electric reaction, however, came when Obama sharply criticized the GOP presidential candidates for staying silent when audience members at a debate booed a soldier who commits adultery who asked a question about DADT."
Is there a difference between adultery and homosexuality? Both are sinful and unnatural. Am I able to be thankful for a solder who was a hero in war time but often committed adultery? Yes, I can be thankful for his sacrifice, but that service does not give him a license to sin.
And yes, the military has discharged members for adultery.
Yes, I am strongly partial to one's own group/religion - with the Bible as my basis. And our group (born again Christians) believe that homosexuality is a sin.
Oh one thing - if you are going to be PC, you should stop calling us bigots - as that is a derogatory term
Do you remember SSG Saddler? He wrote the Ballad of the Green Beret. He was an excellent solider, BUT he ended up murdering someone in the States. Do I honor that man - NO - but I am thankful for what he did for the US in Vietnam

It might be of interest to interview some of the folks and find out why they booed. I am fairly confident it had nothing to do with the fact that he was a soldier. Might if have to do with the compulsion to declare publicaly ones sexuality in public? Or something he did? Or?
As to illustrious el-president declaring others inferior in some way for not supporting the troops - uh he doesn't support gay marriage - uh how much does he support the troops as a bit of a hypocrite? -
Sure he has wrapped homosexuality up in a soldiers uniform and then dared you to criticize it. the whole thing was nothing more than left wing political propaganda. -
-
You all are quick to condemn the sins you think you will never commit. How about fessing up to the sins you do commit so we can bad mouth you?
-
No one here is going on stage/on television to be held up as a shining example for those sins.
It was a propoganda tool to advance an agenda in order for Obama to gain favor within a small group in order to win votes.
Don't you get tired of your owners pulling stunts like this in order to keep their power?
