The Redskins name remains controversial. Native Indian groups, politicians, and journalists continue to condemn Allen and team owner Dan Snyder for their unwavering commitment to keeping it as the team’s identity.
What were the five again? They had to narrow it down to 5 to keep it short enough to stay within people's attention span.
1) This little piggy went to market; 2) This little piggy...What were the five again?

They had to narrow it down to 5 to keep it short enough to stay within people's attention span.
That would explain why Americans tend to speak in talking points, slogans and images found on Google now.
Take a quick look at this . . . http://www.baptistboard.com/threads/questions-for-candidates.97546/
There are currently 25 views and no one has any questions to ask the presidential candidates?
How can this be?
Poncho, I can't believe you slipped upon my allusion to The Federalist Papers. They were published in 1787-88 in the New York Packet and the Independent Journal. I would hardly accuse John Jay, James Madison, and Alexander Hamilton of writing in talking points. It took 85 essays to cover their concerns.
As for my pastor's remark, he gives it as a reason for stopping at the +/-35 minute mark. Though, he is known for spreading a message out over multiple services. So, instead of one 90 minute message we get three ninety minute ones.
Your other remark is a non-sequitur, at least as far as this forum is concerned.

I don't know about you but I can think of a lot of questions to ask the candidates they haven't been asked. I can only guess why others haven't been able to do the same. Take you for instance, you've read the Federalist papers and our founding documents or so you've led me to believe. I'd think you could come up with some really good questions to ask the candidates.
So why haven't you?
Because, I don't read the Politics forum. In fact, I'm more interested in the theological orientated forums. As for my pastor, we get the same information only spread out over a period of weeks. Does your church have two hour long services?
