I won't repeat what went into law today but it is tragic. I am aware of at least 50 if these kinds of churches and have gospel tracts intended for this type of unbeliever. It is very sad and shows sin. These people need prayer.
Why? The nation is sick. Do you write letters to politicians when you're running a fever?
We need to stop responding to spiritual battles in the flesh. Write your letters to churches and church leaders. Mobilize the Body of Christ to, not picket, but to repent. And THEN go into some much needed prayer for this land.
If the Church were serious about this and abortion, there would have been a concerted call to repentance of THE CHURCH a long time ago.
It's as though no one knows how to access the power that Jesus Christ has given us.
14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
The absolute truth of God's word has not changed.
I would write a letter and also include gospel tracts and make an attempt to evangelize the leaders. I am also writing letters to churches but the false ones.
I just received a endorsement for doing this from a Way of the Master leader.
I've never really understood the attempt to make the world act as if it were saved.
You are absolutely right...we are not called to change the morality of lost people, we are called to be witnesses of the gospel....to disciple.
Are Gospel tracts an effective way to reach people I am also writing letters to churches but the false ones.
Not sure if this is relevant.
But here's the thing again. The power to change these things rests with the Body of Christ. There's no need to get into issues with politicians who may not know Christ.
