Will let the Word of God judge your words.

Proverbs 10 8-10 "The wise in heart accept commands, but a chattering fool comes to ruin. The man of integrity walks securely, but he who takes crooked paths will be found out. He who winks maliciously causes grief, and a chattering fool comes to ruin.

I see a pattern there.

Then you must certainly be looking in the mirror at yourself. Would you like me to post all of your posts so that you may see yourself in this?

I would like you to check out this website: The truth about KJV, and the "other versions" , it shows were in the Bible the Blood is left out of NIV, it shows other verses that are completely left out of other versions, it shows the KJV as the accurate version to have.

I would also like you to visit this site: reasons to read the KJV you will see that I am not alone in my thinking, and what I said has a creditable background , and is belived by other Bible scholars. [IMG] Proverbs 10:8-10 (KJV) The wise in the heart will receive commandments: but a pranting fool shall fall. He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known. He that winketh with the eye causeth sorrow: but a pranting fool shall fall. Time to eat crow, Dr.Bob

quote; psr.2 said "The NIV omits 1 John 5:13"

No it doesn't. Do you even check your facts before posting, or are you just repeating what you heard somewhere?

Yes I have an NIV right here. It does omit it.

KJV:
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

NIV:
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

NASB:
These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.

NLT:
I write this to you who believe in the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life.

These MVs tell you, "FALSE WITNESS!"

There is no mistake or error, that is just the dialog they used back in the day, useing the Enlish language of the day is not an error. </font>
Older English translations got it right, and thier English is even older than 1611.

Let's see if your closed mind has the power to understand these simple premises:

1) God's word has NO ERRORS.

2) God's word is INSPRIRED and IS written in Hebrew and Greek.

3) If you can read it, and it's not in Hebrew and Greek, then it's a TRANSLATION.

4) Translations are subject to errors, for they are translated by man, NOT God.

5) The King James Bible is ONE of many English translations, it was NOT the first English translation, it was NOT the last.

6) The King James Bible, which you worship, contains translation ERRORS.

7) The King James Bible Translation is not, was not, and has never been INSPIRED writing.

8) Your KJV only position is WRONG.

Very simple concepts, even a child can understand no? [IMG]

And again our local KJVOist line step better than the most die hard liberal Democrats!

Do KJVOist ever think for themselves? Do they ever research the evidence fully?

Reading this thread makes me praise God even more that I got out the snare of KJVOism! Years ago I used to echo the same junk that is found in this thread. It's amazing what happens when you seek the truth through prayer instead of relying on the myths and knowledge of man!

Honesty is not a KJVO family value!

All one has to do is research the facts and it becomes very clear that KJVOism has some problems with honesty and taking things in context.

uh, er

At 12:15 AM CDT on August 23, 2004 Askjo qoutes 1 John 5:13:

NIV:
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

At 12:17 AM CDT on August 23, 2004 Askjo agrees with
psr.2 that 1 John 5:13 does NOT appear in the NIV

The online NIV agrees with you! [IMG] </font>
My Indian (Native American) friend says:
