Wasn't Baghdad the city with the wall around it . . . and the enemy walked under the wall?

OK that was funny, even if that wall was almost 3,000 years ago . . . you must be talking about the trenches.

Not the wall around Baghdad; The city we call Baghdad is less than 1300 years old. Not Hadrian's wall in Briton, nor the Chin emperor's wall in China.
I was alluding to the Maginot Line and the Seigfried Line, ca. 1939-1945.
They didn't work, either.
