Trial begins for officials accused in Obama, Clinton ballot petition fraud

The curious thing in this case is that South Bend is a Democrat stronghold and it would have been easy to get the necessary signatures. But then South Bend is a strange place and a few years ago The Wall Street Journal said that it is a dying city, probably with the loss of so much industry and a usual winter of deep snow from Lake Michigan that makes it much like Buffalo, New York, in heavy snowfall.

That the name of former Indiana Gov. Joe Kernan (also, former Mayor of South Bend) would have been forged makes this case very serious. Hillary lost the primary in Indiana and McCain lost the election.
