It's one thing to appoint Federal Judges who are far right. It's even worse to appoint radically right judges who are not qualified.

"WASHINGTON - Brett J. Talley, President Donald Trump's nominee to be a federal judge in Alabama, has never tried a case, was unanimously rated "not qualified" by the American Bar Association's judicial rating committee, has practiced law for only three years and, as a blogger last year, displayed a degree of partisanship unusual for a judicial nominee, denouncing "Hillary Rotten Clinton" and pledging support for the National Rifle Association."

This might have some traction if the appointment was to the court of appeals but he's being appointed to the circuit court.

Is a person who has never tried a case qualified to be Attorney General?

Al Mohler, as I recall, had never served in a seminary or college as either faculty or lower-level administration before being made President of Southern Seminary based on his work as editor of the Georgia Baptist Christian Index. Guess that choice must have been wrong also?

You like the fact that this nominee was rated "non-qualified" by the American Bar Association? Well, I guess all the Trumpites like their master don't care about the quality of the administration personnel. You only care that they share your twisted world-view.

I have no respect for the ABA. The Constitution prescribes Senate approval, not ABA approval.

What do you know about the politics of the ABA and how long have you been a member?

I can read the AMERICAN BAR ASSOCIATION input that he is UNQUALIFIED to be a judge (Ranking of 0).

Can you show me in the US Constitution where the ABA decides who is qualified to be a judge and who is not?

Are they? What qualifies a labor union for lawyers as "experts?"
