    No. He's politically irrelevant, but struggles mightily to remains so. He fails.

    He's worthless enough to be a democrat. He'd fit right in.

    I respect him as well, he will always be a hero in my veteran mind.

    I have been deeply disappointed in him though that he has not supported President Trump when he wasa under deep attack be fake news blurbs and unsubstantiated accusations.

    He has overspent the political capital his war record bought him.

    Repecting his service in the U S Navy and respecting him as a senator are 2 entirely different things. He's a political backstabber and cannot be trusted to do what is best for the country or his political party. McCain is for McCain.

    Sure, it is. It's my opinion. You may disagree with it, but that doesn't make it untrue. McCain being defended by a left wingnut tells us all how crazy his politics are. He's a RINO.

    Trump "failed the Viet Nam draft physical" because of a bone spur but can't remember which foot it was on. I can tell you from experience I might forget my next door neighbor's name but I will never forget why I failed the physical. I suspect his father bought somebody off just as GW Bush's father did to get him ahead of a waiting list of 100 and into the Air National Guard.
