The US Dennis the Menace lost his menace status years before as we already had a Dennis the Menace.

You must be younger than me. The Beano came out one week and the Dandy the following week. But that was during the war. We couldn't get them as they could only print a certain number. I had Comic Cuts, but always longed for the others.
