Okay, I get what you're saying here.
I agree with you, but I don't disagree with the term.
I think it's meant to say "love - no matter what."
Unconditional enhances the word love in the mind of the person hearing it.
but we know, of course, unconditional is a quality of real love.

God the ONLY one though who has really that kind of love, and we only have it when saved by Him?
