Under Bush, Federal Spending Increases at Fastest Rate in 30 Years

How I wish the Democrats would use the Bush tactic of "stealing issues".

Bush implements the liberal leftist socialist agenda far better than the Democratw could have dreamed, and he gets credit from "conservatives" for "stealing the issues".

That reminds me of what Bob Dole said when asked about the discontent of conservative voters with his positions. He said "they have nowhere else to go".

Maybe Bush will get away with it, maybe not.

Maybe Bush will win in a big landslide and have coattails so that the rhinos cannot control Congress and the Democrats have to beg the Constitution Party to help them stop foreign aid so that places like Sudan cannot get any American help. Maybe the Constitution Party will hold a post-election meeting and adopt the old Quaker slogan that "service begins after the meeting ends." Maybe the Constitution Party will abandon their inferior theological doctrine of government and go to work.

You guys keep repeating the same arguments about strict constructionists. Do a search for strict constructionist and abortion and see what it said. SEcondly, realize that with Kerry (who you will help to elect), pro abortion candidates are guaranteed. With Bush, it is only a possibility. Now which is better? Do you really want to have a part in solidifying the courts towards abortion? How can you live like that? I want to at least give the unborn a chance.

PJ, There is no vote in this election that will greatly change the fiscal issues. With Kerry, the economy will grow slower though it will still grow. It is on an upswing and you or I could be president and it would grow. Kerry has promised spending that will cost 1.7 trillion over ten years on top of what is currently being spent. You wanna help that??? I don't.

They won't, for the same reason Peroutka won't steal issues from the democrats.

They have principles they believe in.

This is the major reason we need a regime change. I imagine that Peroutka will from time to time make me angry about things he does. But I can trust him. And that's better than what I have now.

CMG, how much of your own money have you sent to Sudan?

You will get angry because he won't do anything ... To do things, you actually have to be elected.

Places like Sudan?
Exactly what has Bush done to assist the people of Sudan? I have been SCREAMING about this for over two years, and we have yet to see any real help for the victims of Sudan, many of whom are Christians!

In Sudan, the Administration worked with the United Nations and the Government of Sudan so that vital assistance could be delivered to the Sudanese people, including approximately 125,000 metric tons in food aid, as well as non-food assistance, such as sanitation and water. The 2005 Budget includes $436 million in humanitarian and development assistance funding, including an estimated $100 million in food aid, to continue to support the Sudanese people as the country works toward a long-lasting peace settlement.

Here's the Link

Incredibly, the Bush administration seems to be in line with the Christian community on this one. I repeatedly pointed (for several weeks) out the situation in my adult sunday school class, and asked for volunteers to get together and take some action to help those in Sudan. I got ZERO response. People don't seem to care.

BTW, this gives lie to the notion that Muslims are never racists. Muslim Arabs are killing Muslim blacks, for no other reason than they are black.

Totally contrary to Islam of course. Evil is a constant in human behavior.

Baptist in Richmond,

Are you suggesting a CIA intervention or a military invasion of Sudan? Or perhaps we should just drop boxes of food out of B-52's.

Of course we're working with the Government. We always do. What's your point?

Pa. Jim,

Whether it be humanitarian aid or war the U.S.A. always works with the government.

We did that with Iraq.
We did that with Germany in WWII.

We worked with the government until it was no longer possible to use peaceable means and then the Diplomats retreated and we sent in the real workforce, the U.S. Military, and worked with them in language they understood!

Back to the Subject that started all this.

Under Bush, Federal Spending Increases at Fastest Rate in 30 Years.

How come when we have a Federal Budget deficit all you Bush bashers start talking about the burden on our children and grandchildren?

I didn't hear you talking about a windfall for our children and grandchildren when we had the huge surpluses?

Bush gave the surplus back to us to reinvest in America.

What did Clinton do with it? If my memory serves me correctly I don't think he used it to pay down any of the Federal Debt!

So isn't he just as guilty as Bush for not spending that surplus and thus not easing the burden on our children and grandchildren?

Makes me think this is a whole lot of rhetoric about nothing. Just another spin from the left.
