    Like other third countries which we've rapidly become, it all depends who has the military on their side. When push comes to shove, I don't think they will follow Trump's commands.

    The government as originally proposed by the founders. A coalition of sovereign states banded together for the common defense to insure continued liberty. That ended with the Civil War. We need to get back to it. We need to revitalize the 10th amendment.

    Ben Franklin didn't say "We will either hang together or we will all hang separately", what he said was "we must, indeed, all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately".

    They must hang together because they needed to form the union, because if they didn't, they would be tried for treason if they failed.

    Yes, give the sovereign states back their powers as per the 10th Amendment and keep the Federal entity to their enumerated duties. The only way to return to such things would be an Article V convention to right all the wrongs that have occured in the last 200 plus years.

    I agree with everything except a convention. Once they start tampering with the Constitution who knows what damage they will do.

    Instead we need SCOTUS rulings that enforce the Constitution as written.
