This is an idiotic statement unworthy of rebuttal.

Don't try to quote the founding fathers your idea of government is so far from what they created all of your ideology is antithetical to the founding of this country.

So you feel we have the government that the founders intended?

Touché....of course I laugh! After all, contemplating the world today with any insight must convince one that it is absurd. This makes for pure entertainment value.

When Democracy breaks down we lose the cherished American history of peaceful transitions between leaders. We're starting to see that happen with Trump. With regard to not following Trump's orders, I believe the chain of command would start to unravel if Trump issued the command to launch nuclear missiles either as a first strike of as a result of his perceived idea that N Korea had fired on us. I consider the current Trump Presidency is in much the same situation as was Richard Nixon's at the height of Watergate.

Debate Over Trump’s Fitness Raises Issue of Checks on Nuclear Power
By WILLIAM J. BROAD and DAVID E. SANGER AUG. 4, 2016

"Then, in 1974, in the last days of the Watergate scandal, Mr. Nixon was drinking heavily and his aides saw what they feared was a growing emotional instability. His new secretary of defense, James R. Schlesinger, himself a hawkish Cold Warrior, instructed the military to divert any emergency orders — especially one involving nuclear weapons — to him or the secretary of state, Henry A. Kissinger.

It was a completely extralegal order, perhaps mutinous. But no one questioned it.

“Although Schlesinger’s order raised questions about who was actually in command,” Eric Schlosser writes in “Command and Control,” a 2013 book, “it seemed like a good idea at the time.”

What would be Trump's authority over the military be if such an incident happened?

There is no substance in nor proof of your statements. Arguing for taking down our form of government is clearly treason. Arguing to try to resolve our differences and fix our problems is not. But that can never happen unless we are willing to have constructive meaningful discussions involving everyone.

The Federalist Papers were written to support the ratification of the Constitution, specifically in New York. . They raised a very interesting question:

"It has been frequently remarked, that it seems to have been reserved to the people of this country, by their conduct and example, to decide the important question, whether societies of men are really capable or not, of establishing good government from reflection and choice, or whether they are forever destined to depend, for their political constitutions, on accident and force.[3]"
Many times America was looked at as an experiment in government by the people. Many that experiment is failing now under the pressures of inequality.

    No. Sorry.
I said exactly the same thing.
We will either hang together or we will all hang separately.
We must, indeed, all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately.
Please tell me the difference in meaning. OK, I should have looked up the exact quote.

These radicals always show up at rallies to support Trump. Who do you think they are marching for. Actually, there're no more radical than many here who call for a violent overthrow of the government through a second civil war.

Sorry. I don't see that. What message are you referring to and is this his or my view of government?

No, you're an engineer, or you were, so I don't see why I have to explain it to you, but your statement was an either/or, Frankiin's was if/then. Either A or B is different than If not A then B.

Mathematically you'd be correct. But in every day English, either/or is equivalent to if/else.
