For some this may be a little strong, but I stand fir on my belief. It is my honest opinion that the United States of America is now dead. We no longer have a government of the people, by the people, and for the people.
Our constitution is no longer valued as the foundation and guideline for this nation. The corruption of the democrats/communists in this last election along with the help of many republicans has destroyed us.
I believe it is now impossible for this nation to rise from its own ashes. I will submit that perhaps what is about to take place may be pushed back, but not prevented.
For years men of God have been saying if God does not judge the USA for its murderous ways on babies in the womb he would need to apologize to Sodom.
Well I believe we are now seeing it come too pass through the democrats/godless/traitors/terrorist/communists/fascists/socialist/liars in our government.
I strongly urge everyone to draw near to God for I believe that the coming days will be fraught with much trouble.
USA is dead

@Judith
I agree. I would just add that our demise is self inflicted. Suicide. America is responsible for changing the very fabric of the people for the sake of 'diversity'.
Yes, the coming days will be fraught with much trouble. Especially to those born-again evangelicals. They will be the evil scourge that the left love to hate.

National sin brings national judgment.
God can restore us,or continue to judge us -

We should draw near to God regardless of the state of our circumstances. Doing so as a regular practice in good and bad prepares us for times like these.
As difficult as they are be careful about going to extreme assumptions too quick. We need to wait and see how these things play out and not assume we have all the knowledge necessary or know what will be the end result.
Sometimes not everything is revealed at once and our perception can be skewed. -

What I mean is the US has never really been that godly of a nation. As a nation we were at least moral on the surface, but at the same time we had violence and sin just an inch below. It is strange to look back and see how ungodly many Christians viewed their culture to be at any given time in history.
But it does seem that our nation is compounding its immorality at an astounding pace. Just 50 years ago the DNC could not exist as it does now. Even non-Christians had some sense of morality. It just makes me wonder how far we can decline as a nation. -

Might I suggest that your day to day life probably won’t change that much regardless of who holds power. If you are obsessed with politics and drink in the 24 new hour news cycle then it might seem that way. All doom and gloom. Step back and live the life you have in front of you. The fringes of each party don’t define anything.

Despite the wicked death spiral of evil,Only God can restore the original hope of the Great Commission moving forward.
President Trump was used to stand for the biblical side on most issues,despite his personal flaws
We need a godly President, but that will require churches to repent and do the first works.
many more prople will need to be born again in order to elect a godly person to office. -

Quantrill,
The challenges early on to the Puritans trying to make their way in a new land, and adjust, proved a big distraction, perhaps of necessity but nevertheless a generation or two later they failed to reproduce their faith in their children.
God has to grant repentance and faith, but it is possible they started out right but might have overstepped in trusting in their own "righteousness" and "piety" and the strength of the flesh, or perhaps a legal spirit.
Compromises such as the half -way Covenant did not help flooding the church with carnal professors.
More secular people immigrated here, large amounts of Roman Catholics settled around Cincinnati and beyond.
Without communication systems, in place, America began to be fragmented.
National sins began to become prominent. Systemic racism, to new immigrants [ Irish, Italian, Jewish,] slavery leading to civil war, greed, Gold rush, moral decay, prostitution, alcoholism, corruption,
Liberals in politics, liberals, and apostates in the church. Cults in the 1800s....two world wars and other global conflicts...
None of these events promotes the godly Character of the Kingdom of God being a light on a hill, as we were intended to be.
Leading to the sins presented here, back in 1983;

Europe was Christian. The majority were Christian. Not secular. Roman Catholics were Christian just as Protestants.
Who branded racism wrong? Why is it wrong to want to be and further your own race? It is never wrong for the blacks to want to be with and further their race. The NAACP is always seen as good. The NAAWP is always evil. Where do you come up with the idea that slavery is wrong?
Concerning your next to last paragraph, you are mixing the Church with the nation. There were always apostates in the Church. Jesus even had His Judas. How did America lose its way just because it participated in the two World Wars? Had America not participated in the Second World War, England would have fallen, and the Jews would have been wiped out. Seems to me that God used America for a good thing there.
In other words, how did America lose it's way two hundred years ago? As you stated.
