Comprehension is not one of your strengths. I said we will NOT sit around on clouds playing harps. I think heaven will be a place of activity, and it is possible we could still get injured. Why would the leaves of the tree of life be for "healing" and "medicine" if there is absolutely no need for healing and medicine? Does that make sense to you? It certainly does not make sense to me.

So obviously, those leaves will be needed for healing and medicine at times. I don't know exactly why, perhaps there will still be bacteria in heaven and a person could get sick, perhaps we will play sports and get injured, I don't know.

I just know it would be pretty nonsensical to have leaves for healing and medicine if they are never needed.

Not everything in the Book of Revelation is chronological. It just may be that that particular Tree of Life may be referring to the Millennial Kingdom. At the very least it could be referring to the "new earth" which we know nothing about.
But one thing we do know for sure. It refers to the "healing of the nations, not the healing of Winman,--you don't count as a nation.
To suggest that there will be bacteria and and sickness in heaven when the Bible specifically says that there will be no sickness there, is a contradiction of the Word of God, and pretty much on the same plane as calling into question the very integrity of the Lord himself.

You know, there is such a thing as preventative medicine. It might be that the leaves of the tree of life counter aging and disease. In fact, it must be so, because even when Adam and Eve were sinful, God said if they ate from the tree of life they would live forever.

Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

Adam and Eve were now sinners, but God said if they ate from the tree of life they would live forever. So obviously this tree has the power to counter and prevent aging and disease.

Look, believe whatever you want, but it is pretty ridiculous to tell us the leaves are for healing and medicine if they are never going to be needed for these purposes. If you can't figure that out, I can't help you.

We will ALL be resurrected with Immortal bodies, NO more sin nor taint of it, so no sickness/disease etc...

Do you see God has not having enough power/means to make sure that His sovereign will can really get done, or is it that you see us having enough free will that we can overturn his plans and purposes in new heavens and earth?

In one of the replies I got in my email, I noticed that someone...not really sure whom it was that stated it, hated how many things were attributed to "the Church"...so that they could say "The Church" believed this, and "The Church" believed that. Most of it, as was stated in the post is attributed to what the Roman Catholic Church believes essentially making them the catch all for what "Christianity" believes. I am probably going to make a lot of people angry and I am certainly not stating that there not people in the Roman Catholic church who are Christians, but I was not, nor will I ever be a part of the Roman Catholic Church, which IS EMPHATICALLY NOT "The CHURCH".

I truly believe that there is a remnant of Christianity that held from the time Jesus Christ started HIS CHURCH here on earth that have tried their best to hold true until now, and will continue to try to do so. Am I saying that they are Baptists, Pentecostals or others.....not at all. I believe many are closer than others and we attend a Baptist church.

Sorry...it's late, I'm up and I thought I would put my two cents in since this showed up in my email. Blessings on everyone and have a good evening/morning.

God has His saved out people throughout time in various local churches, even those like catholic, as they were saved despite the teaching/doctrines, but due to the Grace of God...

Do think Baptist beliefs are closest to what the early Church church taught and practiced on the whole...
