If GW and Laura were separating, the left would be pouncing and the right would be crying a river. Pathetic that we'll sacrifice Biblical compassion on the altar of partisanship.
Why accuse people that have eyes to see and ears to hear that they are engaging in partisanship over this matter? Pointing out Gore's ridiculous claims about global warming, his hypocrisy, and his ability to be less than honest on several accounts, in no way diminishes the sorrow that is felt by all Christians that his marriage has fallen apart. I guess that when a marriage is dissolved one is absolved from all of their indiscretions, kinda like the way no one can say anything about Obama because they are then a racist...

First, I wasn't directing it at you. Feel convicted, brother?
Second, no one says his divorce absolves him of anything, so that's a reach. Trust me, if anyone knows about Gore's politics, it's a Tennesseean.
Third, I never once mentioned Obama, so that too is a reach.
Fourth, eyes to see and hears to hear see and hear that the gospel is more powerful than politics. Let them who have hears to hear, let them hear.

It is tragic, combined with the news of their son's drug charges, and now this, it is only human to speculate that this is a very unhappy household. I too, see reconciliation as the outcome we should all pray for....
