Interesting. Certainly haven't heard or read nything about it till you posted this.

    Good find!

With a movement like this going on...and being ignored by the dems and their lapdog media cohorts, the expected "blue wave" is in real jeopardy.

And there’s just one problem with the burgeoning movement.

One of the top accounts that’s been celebrated across conservative circles, @sophialimited, who said she had Hispanic, immigrant parents who decided to leave the Democratic party, was a bot. Twitter suspended it, but not before it racked up tens of thousands of retweets.

This is a fake/bot account trying to make #WalkAway happen. 16k RTs for "Sofia Vargoros," a bot with a profile pic stolen from — I am not kidding — a book about getting rich from penny stocks. pic.twitter.com/wTwphtPS23

    — Sarah Lertzman (@sllertzman) July 1, 2018

The bot swelling didn’t stop conservative blogs from covering the news as a dramatic movement “#WalkAway Movement Gains Momentum as People Leave the Democrat Party in Droves” wrote the Gateway Pundit.

Breitbart announced it has “quickly morphed into a major force on social media and beyond.”

But, if anything, it just became a joke among liberals.

I am a bot with a Latino person’s profile picture I stole from a stock photo site. Even though Trump is keeping immigrant children in cages, I will #WalkAway from the Democratic party and convince you to do the same because Donald Trump Jr. will retweet and give me many likes.

    — Eugene Gu, MD (@eugenegu) July 2, 2018

Because no one is walking away from the Democratic party just because Breitbart said people were.

LOL. That’s correct. People are leaving the democrat party because they’re smartening up. It started before Breitbart took notice.

    #walkaway movement real or fake?

Lol, if it's real, hallelujah! If it's fake, good! Give it right back to the liars and deceivers! And better if it succeeds in awakening some of these folks.

Reuters Poll: Young White Americans Flee Democrat Party in Droves Since Trump’s Election

"Young white Americans are fleeing the Democrat Party en masse following the election of President Donald Trump in 2016, a new poll reveals.

The latest Reuters/Ipsos Poll surveyed more than 16,000 registered voters between the ages 18 to 34 over the course of the last three months of 2018. This same poll was conducted in 2016 around the same time period.

Young white Americans, in 2016, favored Democrats over Republicans in 2016 by a 47 to 33 percent margin. Since Trump’s election — and his booming economy which has secured high-paying jobs and record job opportunities — young white Americans’ favoritism for Democrats has disappeared.

Overall, the poll revealed that Democrats are losing young Americans in general. For example, before Trump’s election, 55 percent of young Americans said they favored Democrats over Republicans. Today, that margin is down to only 46 percent of young Americans who are still loyal to Democrats.

Key to Trump’s election was the issue of mass illegal and legal immigration, wherein the United States admits more than 1.5 million immigrants every year. As Breitbart News reported, a majority of white Americans say immigration to the U.S. has made life in America “worse.”

The Reuters poll also comes as the Democratic Party is increasingly built on a platform of open borders in the hopes of diversifying the American electorate to dramatically change the direction of the country.

Overall, the U.S. is on track to bring in about 15 million new foreign born voters in the next 20 years, as the country continues admitting more than one million legal immigrants every year, as Breitbart News noted. This booming foreign born population is likely to hand electoral dominance over to Democrats...."

Saw this yesterday. It verified your OP.

We may be watching the demise of the democrat party. All that will be left are the haters and the violent mobs... wackos. As Perez, the DNC chairman says, socialism is the democrat platform of the future.

"...What if I told you the Democratic Party will fracture into multiple parties and the Republican Party will grow stronger? And what if I said changing demographics and the normalization of identity politics would be the reason?

The Democratic Party has redoubled its embrace of identity politics. Whether it be Mexican-American, African-American, Chinese-American, Muslim-American or any of the two-dozen hyphenated American groups out there, these ethno-religious-cultural groups have by and large used the Democratic Party to further their group interests. Why wouldn’t they?

"....Increasingly so, more whites are realizing that the economically center-left and socially/culturally conservative party of Franklin D. Roosevelt and John F. Kennedy no longer exists. The old Democratic Party was a pro-labor, pro-union party. Today, the Democratic Party is the party of open borders, multiculturalism, and environmentalism—positions that reduce wages, divide communities, and undermine economic prosperity. The traditional base of white working-class Democrats either cannot relate to or are opposed to these policies and as a result have been leaving the Democratic Party in droves. …."

"...The Democrats have cynically embraced Hispanics, blacks, Asians, Muslims, the LGBT community, feminism and many other groups in an attempt to divide and conquer the electorate—even though most of these groups have conflicting interests. That in and of itself will be the downfall of the Democratic Party...."

Twitter doing their part to suppress the truth. ‘Impeach 45’ had 60 tweets in an hour, making it ‘trend’ at #4. That same time, ‘Walk Away’ had 1500 tweets, but due to their ‘algorithms’ methods, it was not mentioned in their trending list. Twitter propaganda.

WATCH: Klavan Proposes New Movement To Counter #WalkAway

"In an attempt to bring some balance and "fairness" to the #WalkAway movement, in which clear-thinking liberals explain why they've abandoned the Democratic Party, author and podcast host Andrew Klavan took some time on Monday's episode of "The Andrew Klavan Show" to outline five reasons why someone might actually want to become a Democrat instead of leaving the party....."

(must be more to the movement other than a few 'bots') :)

"...White millennials are equally divided between supporting Republicans and Democrats in this year's critical midterm elections, as a campaign urging people to "Walk Away" from the Democratic Party has picked up steam online.

Young people do not like President Donald Trump, but whites between the ages of 18 and 34 said they are equally likely to vote for a Republican as for a Democrat in the elections for Congress this November. A full 39 percent said that "if the election for U.S. Congress were held today," they would vote for the Republican in the district where they live. Another 39 percent said they would vote for the Democrat.

This represented a nine-point shift away from Democrats since 2016. That year, only 33 percent of young white voters said they would elect a Republican to Congress, while 47 percent said they would choose a Democrat...."

The deceptive thing about all this is that I'm not sure this movement will show up in the polls. But, I don't believe the "blue wave" is going to happen.
