When I was 8 years old , I wanted to be baptised but I wasnt old enough. But a year later When I was 9 i got baptised and when I went into the water I saw a light like it was from heaven, and I know that heaven was rejoicing that day. I will never forget that day.

Im going to college and to major in special edcation. And I propaly go to a community college and then transfer to an unviersity.

I think that is great
I am just about to finish a teaching certification in Social Studies and History; I am going to get my masters in Exceptional Education.
I am amazed at the many ways the brain is created to think and learn so much information. I want to encourage you in your future, Kentucky needs good teachers, those who are there because of their dedication to people and them learning and not because they just want a paycheck. I think you will be a great teacher
What grade level do you want to teach?

Frogman that was nice of you to say that. I want to teach special ed for k-2. I myself have a learning disablitie. And I want the kids to feel that they are not alone. I love kids, some people accuse of special ed kids of not being smart. That is not true they are smart in ther own way.

That is right, there is only 'exceptional' education; remember that. Those kids and yourself too, (BTW, most people do have a Learning Disability), just with most folks the schools don't officially recognize it; most folks learn only what the school feeds em, the exceptional kids go above and beyond that; they are smart in ways that all the rest of us will never be able to be
You hang in there and do all you can do to earn that degree; you will be a great teacher because you will know your students and respect them for themselves and not as a role book number.
Have you checked out any colleges or universities? The best imho, this state has to offer is Berea.
I had two high school friends who graduated from there and one of them is working as a research engineer for Perdue farms in North Carolina and the other is working for U.K.'s research labs out of Ashland.
I was stupid, I got married, they tried to get me to go to Berea with them, but I got married and then later decided to go to college, it is hard. I had to quit for a while, but the Lord has given me the opportunity to return and I only like a couple of semesters finishing
Hang in there, you will do great
God Bless ya
