Yet another obviously false claim, Isaac was physically born according to God's promise, not spiritually born anew.

Yet another change the subject post, deflection on display:

The T, U, L and I of the TULIP are as bogus as a three dollar bill.
Why did God set life and death before people if they were unable to choose life.
No answer will be forthcoming because the doctrine is unbiblical.
Why did God choose individuals for salvation through faith in the truth if the election was unconditional? No answer will be forthcoming because the doctrine is unbiblical.
Why did Jesus become the propitiation or means of salvation for the whole world if He died only for the elect? No answer will be forthcoming because the doctrine is unbiblical.
Why does God credit our faith in Christ as righteousness if our faith is given and instilled in us by God, since if that were true, it would already be righteous. No answer will be forthcoming because the doctrine is unbiblical.

    Standby for yet another deflection.

I believe he was yet not spiritually perfected (adopted) as a "mature" son in heavenly Jerusalem until he saw the resurrected firstborn.

    Hebrews 12
22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

Your 'faith' is the 'works' that you perform in your flesh, then, right?

Jesus Died for 'the world' of them who 'believe', if you are familiar with John 3:16.

God Chose individuals by The Pleasure of His Own Will, According to The Bible.

There has never been a Spiritual Offer, to choose Spiritual Life that God was Obligated to Provide any ability to perform.

God Has Not Lost His Authority to Command Perfect Obediance to His Universal Moral Law.

Physical life and death was set before the people.

Listen Hank, I know your assertion makes no sense. If you think it does, there is nothing I can say. The concept that the OT Saints were born anew before Christ died is unbiblical.

True, but we don't know WHY!

At the pleasure of my own will I choose PIZZA with lots of melted stringy mozzarella cheese, oregano flavored tomato sauce, several juicy slices of pepperoni, a tiny sprinkle of olive oil topped with a goodly shake of Parmesan cheese on a one inch layer of yeasty baked pizza dough.

WHY!? Should be obvious - IT TASTES SO GOOD!

But what is there about us that motivated HIM to exercise HIS will to choose US (apart from the fact that we are in His Image and Likeness).

His love? IMO without a more detailed explanation that's a cop out.
    Why did HE choose Israel?

7 The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:
8 But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

    WHAT ABOUT US?

We were not only helpless but hopeless, without HOPE and probably one more thing.

Satan rejoiced at GOD'S pain (the requirement of the human blood of the incarnate LOGOS).

Yet another deflection, just false assertions without support from scripture.
Faith is not works, Romans 4:4-5.
Christ died for everyone, those to be saved and those never to be saved, He became the propitiation or means of salvation for the whole world. 1 John 2:2
God chose people for salvation through faith in the truth. 2 Thessalonians 2:13
No one suggested God was "obligated" to provide the means of salvation. More deflection, more rabbit trails to oblivion.
No one said God had "lost" His ability, more deflection, more rabbit trails to oblivion.
The chose of life or death, included the choice to love God, thus the lost had spiritual ability.

The question you have to ask yourself is who dreamed up the assertion Isaac being a child of the promise means he was made alive (regenerated) before Christ died.
He did not "follow" Christ in the regeneration, he went beforehand. I could go.
    Twaddle, folks, pure twaddle.

It all happened from the foundation of the world - Jacob came AFTER the foundation of the world.
Notice in Hebrews 12 as well

22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

Christ is the Firstborn although His incarnation was thousands of years later.

    Also Romans 5:12; Romans 5:
Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Romans 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

    Galatians 4
28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.

These things were all accomplished from the foundation of the world.

I am afraid to ask what you claim "from the foundation of the world" means." It means since creation, thus today is "from (or since) the foundation of the world."

You did not address that those born anew "follow" Christ in regeneration.

Of course Jesus is the first born, meaning the first to arise from the dead.

When are those born anew "written" or enrolled in heaven? When they are born anew, during their lifetime, not "before" the foundation of the world.

I do not see how you think Romans 5:12 or 5:18 applies to your false premise the OT saints were born anew before Christ died. They had to wait in Abraham's bosom to be made perfect, which happened after Christ died.

And I see you have no answer to the observation Isaac was physically born through the power of God's promise.

Your assertions are twaddle, always have been, always will be.

No OT Saint was "made alive together with Christ" before Christ died, no OT Saint was "regenerated" until after Christ was regenerated, and no OT Saint was born anew in Christ until after Christ died.

yes they had to wait to be made perfect - but "made perfect" does not mean they had not been born again in the first place.

28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.

we all wait to follow Him in the final phase of the regeneration - the resurrection of the body.

Romans 8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

On and on, Hank, you post twaddle. What is this "the final phase of regeneration." You make it up and post it again and again. Regeneration means to be made alive, to be born anew. The final phase of "salvation" ultimate sanctification, the redemption of our bodies, is what we are waiting for because we have been regenerated, made alive together with Christ.

I have addressed Isaac, but you simply ignore the obvious. Now you seem to claim, because godly people were persecuted during OT times and NT times, that means OT saints were born anew. Twaddle times two.

Romans 8:23 supports my view, adoption is future, and the people born anew in the first century did consider themselves "firstfruits." Obviously they did not think Isaac was a "first fruit."

I ask again, can you provide a link to a published article that asserts the OT Saints were born anew during their lifetime, rather than after Christ died?

What does being "made perfect" or perfected mean? Hank claims being born anew does not mean being made perfect.

Hebrews 10:14 (NASB) For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified.

When does scripture say we are perfected (made perfect)? When we are sanctified (set apart in Christ.) When are we made alive? Together with Christ.

Heb 12:23 and congregation of the firstborn, who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous, who have been made perfect,

When are we made righteous? When we are made perfect. When is that? When God puts us into Christ where we are made alive together with Christ.

I can but I won't brother, we are both set in our ways.

i will go as far as to say whatever the OT saints had in terms of their rebirth it was brought to perfection by Christ after His resurrection.

However without it from the beginning they would have been left with this:
Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

In the OT the rebirth it is called the circumcision of the heart

Deuteronomy 30:6 And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

Romans 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

No OT Saint was born anew until after Christ died, until they too were set apart in Christ and experienced the washing of regeneration.

You can but you won't? Sounds like your assertion has no actual support from scripture.

Again, it is fiction that lost people are unable to seek God and trust in Christ. Matthew 23:13.

The New Covenant is mentioned in the OT, but the New Covenant was inaugurated with the death of Christ, recall the last supper.

Imagine God's Relief and Joy at your lost work of opening the door of your MAGNIFICENCE for The Eternal God to be GRANTED the Privilege of Crediting your filthy blood stained menstrual rags with Perfect Holy Righteousness.

    You have to.

    It didn't.

The renewal of the human heart through rebirth was part of both covenants

    John 3
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?

    Deuteronomy 10
15 Only the LORD had a delight in thy fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.
16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked.

Jeremiah 4:4 Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, and take away the foreskins of your heart, ye men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest my fury come forth like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.
