If you would bother looking (you don't), you would see that I've been quite critical of Bush, and the current batch of "I've never met a spending bill I didn't like" Republicans.
Like I said...you have a problem with intellectual honesty on this board.
We all know it.
You should take note of it yourself.
But go ahead and criticize conservatives...it further solidifies the minds of those who appreciate freedom, such as myself.
Are you ever going to explain why you called me a bigot ? Or why you told everyone Bush was my hero ?
Or are you one of those liberals who thinks it's OK to demand standards for everyone else that you are not willing to live up to, yourself ? Like Ted Kennedy, for instance ?
The impact of the rejection of Obama's policies can be seen by comparing the margin of McDonnell win over deeds yesterday [about 20%] to the win over Deeds 4 years ago for the office of Attorney General [<400 votes].
In case you missed the irony.
Mrs. Palin supported the third party candidate in Doug Hoffman and not the GOP Scazzafava.
Scazzafava withdrew leaving the race between Hoffman and the apparent winner Bill Owens.
Scazzofava's candiacy was a trainwreck looking for a place to happen.
Her voting record put her to the left of Owens.
Palin's influence derailed Scazzofava's run and left the voters of NY-23 with a true choice between conservative and liberal candidates.
There was no clear distinction between Owens and Scazzofava except for party affiliation in name only.
Did Palin ruin the GOP sweep?
Absolutely.
Is that a bad thing?
Absolutely not.
I agree. The last thing the Republicans needed was another Olympia Snow figure or a Specter who would vote more with the Democrats that with the Republicans. Then again, we are seeing that there really no difference between the dems and the repubs except for some white wash. Both are destroying our country.
Sarah gave me a comfortable reason to vote the ticket.
I would have still voted for McCain, but holding my nose..
The Republican party had better rid itself of these moderates, and return to its roots.
Right now, the moderates are in control, and putting them in power will continue the leftward march, and the marginalizing of the Christian Right...
Perhaps Governor Sarah Palin will lead the revolution [peaceful I hope] to throw off the shackles of unlimited government and return to a Constitutional republic
Corzine in NJ distanced himself from the democrats in DC and campaigned against Obama's agenda. He manged to loose a sold blue state.
Now Owens on the other hand campaigned in sync with Obama's agenda and managed to win a solid red district.
One of those things that makes you go HHhhmm??
Also, you can live as healthy as you want but it won't stop illness. Healthy people get cancer too. The public option will pass. The house will pass it this weekend and the Senate may have to use reconciliation but will pass a public option.
Been busy lately Rev, the Church bought a building we plan to use for homeless this winter so we've been investing sweat to get her ready. Keep us in prayer Bro because this is all on faith. The property came cheap because of economic times and members pledged support but you know how that goes...
Do you ever come up with an idea that originates with you?
As a Democrat apologist, are you allowed to express your own thoughts?
The word that you used "pathetic" could be used to describe most any politician of either major party, but in your infinite wisdom, somehow you come up with the logic that Palin is pathetic, but refuse to use the same term on your list of heros that are destroying this country daily.
You know, Obama, Biden, Pelosi, Reid, Frank, Kerry, Clinton, Levin, Schumer, Boxer, Feinstein, Burrus, Byah, just off the top of my head.
OK, now you can get back to your hobby of explaining the gap between the Democrats and Republicans.
