quote:
What you are trying to do is convince me that homosexuality is acceptable and my Bible tells me that it is not. You should tell me where I have lied.

Curtis, when you say that I believe that homosexuality is OK, you're lying. When you say that even after I've told you all a dozen or more times that I am firmly convinced that homosexuality is a sin, you're lying through your teeth.
When you say that I'm trying to convince you that homosexuality is OK, you're lying again.
Curtis, I just don't know how to make it any simpler for you but I will try:
Curtis, when a boy and another boy do what only mommies and daddies are supposed to do, that makes Jesus sad. Can you say sad, Curtis? Good boy.
It makes Jesus sad because God said not to do it and when we do something that God said not to do, that's called sin. Can you say sin, Curtis? Good boy.
Jesus wants to help boys who do mommy and daddy things together and He's asked you and me to tell them that He wants to help them, Curtis. Isn't that exciting?
But sometimes, we can be mean to them and that makes Jesus sad, too because, then, they might run away and never ask Jesus for help. Isn't that sad, Curtis?
Let's make Jesus happy today and tell boys who do mommy and daddy things together that Jesus loves them and wants to help them, OK Curtis?
I hope that makes it clear because I'm running out of ways to tell you that I believe that homosexuality is wrong, sinful, harmful, damaging, bad, immoral, shameful, iniquitous and seperates us from God. Frankly, after having done it a dozen times now, I shouldn't have to.

I have been going over some of you'r posts. I would really like to to talk with you outside of this board. It seems we have a lot in common. I love bluegrass....& also played hockey as a youth ( I'm now too old ). I have respect for you'r views. I dont really like the way you talked to me on you'r last post, but I really think we just misunderstood each other. I'm not a hateful guy....I have been attacked on this board as well...& I think sometimes I don't read messages as well as I should....or maybe my hackles get raised up too easily.
I have a genuine love for the unsaved. I'm as fundamental as you can get, but a relatively new christian. Also not as eloquent as some others....
I am truly sorry if I misread you'r post. You'r last message to me was clear.
Will the Devils get the cup this year? :D

Tuor and Joey sat down one day and read the story of Jesus and "casting the first stone":
"The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group and said to Jesus, "Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?" They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her." Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.
At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?" "No one, sir," she said. "Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."" (John 8:3-11 NIV)
They then declared, "I can't believe Jesus taught that adultery is OK!!!"

Talk about personal attacks.... :(

Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."", but BWSmith didn't want to hear that part so he covered his ears.

Jesus also said that teaching others to sin would reap a horrible punishment. This was a warning to people who would teach others that sin is no longer sinful. I hope and pray that you open your eyes to the danger your soul is in.
In case you didn't realize it BW, Jesus didn't say adultry was no longer a sin. I know that is what you want it to say, but go back and read what I highlighted.
