What’s on your tax return? For Romney, more than $1M in foreign tax credits

Sure he does and when he becomes president maybe he should start with Eric Holder and then move on to the GSA, then the Solyndra folks on retirement, then the TSA folks who have millions perhaps billions of dollars tied up in equipment moldering away in warehouses (for which we pay rent to add the proverbial insult of the proverbial injury), etc, etc...

I hope a lot of freeloaders, cheats, incompetents and scammers loose their jobs because of his influence.

On that we agree. I just do not see how Romney being President solves that problem.

Perhaps. I would like to see some good statistics on this.

One thing I do know is that the office supply stores are not oversupplied with employees. Whenever I have a question I have to go looking for someone to answer the question and sometimes it is quite a search.

The same is true with the large hardware stores. There never seems to be anyone close by when they are needed. I have always loved the small mom and pop stationary and hardware stores. There is always someone there to answer questions and they know what they are talking about.

And have you ever been able to buy, say, one molly bolt, at a large hardware store. You cannot buy one small item. They are packed in multiples and often I do not need multiples. And another pet peeve, they have a million items in stock and 45 percent of the time what I want they do not have ... but the mom and pop stores always seem to have it stored away somewhere and they get quickly.

The large stores may be more efficient business wise, but not in customer services.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see (assuming he gets elected).

After that last Obama foot in mouth comment, I give Romney a 50-50 shot.

The small stores are still out there...

But no doubt you go to the large stores for the lower prices.

If you want someone to help you pick out a single screw at the hardware store you have to pay for that service.

If one had a screw loose, that might be the place to go.

Your thinly veiled insults are no better than your out and out name calling.

    Everyone can see through it.

No matter how clever you think it to be.

I suppose that depends on the way one takes it. I literally meant a loose screw. For example, if you had an Obama blow up doll and there was a loose screw on the push button, you might go to a mom and pop hardware store to have it fixed. There was no other meaning intended.

Not having any blow up dolls myself, I'll have to take your word for it and defer to your superior experience in that area.

I am still laughing at that one. You win this round, but I shall return.

Um, that was actually more Bain and less Romney as far as starting the company......

He couldn't have done it without Bain - that's a fact. Not saying he isn't successful, just noting that he certainly had more than just a little help.
