WHY DID GOD CREATE ANGELS?
WHAT DO ANGELS DO IN THE LIFE OF A CHRISTIAN?
HOW ARE ANGELS INVOLVED IN OUR PRAYERS?
WHAT ROLE WILL ANGELS PLAY IN THE END TIME?
GOD BLESS.

Angels are "ministering spirits" according to Heb 1 - they do God's bidding. They are powerful, intelligent created beings that serve before the throne of God and also minister to God's people.
We see one standing at the gates of the garden of Eden barring entrance into the Garden.
We see one destroying 70,000 soldiers outside the gates of Jerusalem.
We see one rolling away the large stone at Christs tomb causing the soldiers to fall as dead men.
We see one going up in a flame of fire when speaking to Manoah and his wife about Samson.
And of course - fallen angels include Satan and the demons that follow him.
And as we learn from Matt 22 - Angels are unnable to reproduce, mary, have children etc.
In Christ,
Bob -
And they can appear in the form of humans whom we might encounter at any given time.
Hbr 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained
angels unawares.

My son encountered an angel one night. He is a firefighter and it happened one evening while he was on duty. It was in the station, not while he was on any type of alarm.
He said he would "never" forget such an experience.

Yes, MEE, I like to think the comparison is the same as when I spoke in
tongues (Baptism of the Holy Spirit). I was apparently visited by an invisible
angel that night and like your son I could say :
He said he would "never" for get such an experience.
It might be more common than any of us know. Some actually visible
and some intercessory.
