It seems that Detroit gives more rights to the squatter - it will take a minimum of thirty days to get her evicted.

I saw this article today. It is a perfect example of the failure of our present judicial system to bring resolutions in a proper manner. The whole scene is a great example of how we have failed as a people and are descending into chaos as a society.
Thankfully the actual homeowner, not the squatter, is going to get representation now. The sad thing is that it will still take three months to move the person out.
I don't know what I'd do. The squatter is crazy, the interview with her shows this. She needs some kind of mental health help. I'd be worried for my family.
This kind of thing is happening a lot in Michigan and a couple of other states with high foreclosure rates.
