Water...
I have severe gout and take medicine that is constantly flushing uric acid out of my body. Because of that, you rarely see me without a water bottle in my hand. -
After 8pm, I drink either diet soda without caffeine or water. I never drink anything with caffeine after 8.
At any other time of day, you'll usually find me drinking Diet Mountain Dew. -
LeBuick -- Barry has had to deal with gout several times. Cherries, believe it or not, are really a help, not only in relieving the pain, but in helping prevent it in the first place. He also learned that we had to keep chicken to a minimum in his diet. You may already know about that, but if not, hope it helps! Frozen cherries, by the way are just as good as the fresh for this.
What do we drink around the house. I'm a tea person -- sun up to sun down. Right now I'm on my umpteenth cup of the day. Barry loves tea, too, but also drinks a lot of ginger ale because ginger quiets his often queasy stomach. Water is at meals. Barry also will get up in the middle of the night to get some chocolate milk. That cracks me up, but he's like a little kid with it -- loves the stuff! -
How does a Baptist keep chicken to a minimum in his diet? :)

There's always a gallon of tea in the fridge. I drink tea with meals, usually 2 or 3 glasses per meal.
I switched from Diet Coke to Coca Cola Zero. I love it and I usually drink that during the day.
Coffee, occassionally, in the morning...has to have Cinammon Vanilla flavored Creamer.
Water at night. -
I choose "Other".
I drink a New England favorite Moxie!

A little chicken is fine. But lots can really contribute to the problem.
I know that your response was a joke, but gout itself isn't. -

I drink coffee, tea, and water. Lots of water.

Might be tough for a preacher to give up yard bird but you're right about that pain, it is worth anyting to avoid it. -
I didn't vote for the sodas because I drink only caffeine free and sugar free, same for tea, and lots of water.
-
I only drink water now. I went without sodas for about six months and when I tried to drink it....well, it just tasted plain nasty!
-
Water, purified water that is (not by rite, by my water purifier....just a little joke). I also drink juices, but water is THE drink!

Coffee in the morning, perhaps with juice.
Diet Coke for lunch.
Wine with dinner (not always, may be a diet soda or a beer).
Lots & lots of water during the day. -
Water, iced tea sweetened with Splenda, decaf coffee, milk, Diet Dr. Pepper with Berries.
-
Most people know that coffee is always available at my house. Followed by water and various types of soda. We've also become fans of the diet green tea lately.
-
Dr. Pepper
Hey! Where is Dr. Pepper on the list?
Mostly I drink Sweet Tea, or Water, or Milk. Do drink more Coke, Dr. Pepper, etc. than I used to, more than I ought to.
When we lived in Canada in the late 70's - early 80's, we had to "import" our Dr. Pepper. By the time we came back south it was becoming available there. -
Tea, water, and diet 7up
