judgemental arent you....1st I am not you (thank God). Next If you dont have anything constructive to say, then just dont contribute.

I do plan on dealing with the guy but ...not through being argumentative, that resolves nothing; he is a kid --- right out of high school. If he was a full out adult, yea I would have aggressively responded but I dont know what he is all about. Enough said.

You are touchy when you get mildly insulted. Maybe you should have that same degree of defensiveness about your Lord and Savior.

Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.[Matthew 12:32]

I would side with those who stated to wait until he's by himself and not where he has an audience to perform in front of. He can be forgiven of what he said.

Reynolds...you are not understanding the situation and I would like you to understand it because that makes all the difference because it's a teachable moment for this kids very soul. Should I have steam rolled him in front of his peers then I would have justified his anger however if I approach him privately my cause for teaching him is far superior ....see we are talking about his very soul here and I don't want to muff that up. And that I believe will make all the difference.

Well, of course He did. The most basic Christian doctrine says so. From John 3:16 ("the world") to Matthew 28:19 ("all nations") Jesus plainly said He came for everyone. To question or deny this fact is to deny Christ Himself!

I would say what did Jesus do that you hate Him for? This will either open a dialogue or the young man will retreat not having a good answer. And I would then pray the Holy Spirit would not let that question depart from his mind, that it would convict his heart and soul daily towards the goal of repentance and salvation.

I understand that, but was just addressing them that way, as only God knows who are His own!

If He came for everyone why isn't everyone saved? Is Christ inept?

No, you wanted the guy to be assured that Christ died for him. But there is no warrant for that in the Scriptures.
The great "soul-winner" Charles H. Spurgeon never told anyone that "Christ died for their sins."

.
I never ran into anyone who hates Jesus Christ. I ran into plenty who hate their idea of Jesus Christ.

He could have had bad encounter with holy rollers, he could be angry with God, he could be athiest or even fishing for believers because he needs one
Every time we sin we are telling Jesus the same thing.
He could have just as well run into a wolf wearing Baptist clothes, ... a religious devil pretending to be a Christian. They are much more offensive than holy rollers. Being a Baptist, I have encountered more false professors calling themselves "Baptist" than any other faith group.

No, I cannot accept your last statement as being correct, ... people who sin are not necessarily telling Christ anything.

2 Cor 5:15 NLT and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.
1 John 2:2 "and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world."

I could not keep quiet, ... there is a fire in my bones, ..... the man is trying to impress some and intimidate those who believe in God and love Christ. That is a proper time to speak up for the Lord!

I don't either, as only God knows that fact, but would still ask them why cussing out the person who died for sinners.
