Actually, I did ask you. You still haven't answered it.
On the other hand, by quoting your own words declaring me to be unsaved, I did expose your claim that you did not declare me to be unsaved to be a lie.

you don't follow along real well.
Let's do this real slow...
1.
You claimed to ask a question I didn't answer.
2.
I prove above not only didn't you ask me any question, but you lied about it.
3.
You then proceeded to say 'well I'm asking you now', in your own words condemning your honesty.
4.
Now you are back to step 1.
Unreal.
I did.
Try reading.
Which is....?

Its just before the

The question has been posed to you two times now.
No, you didn't. All you said is "My behavior towards you is as it should be. "
No, it isn't. All you said is "My behavior towards you is as it should be. "
That's twice now that you've been caught lying.

For those of us whose theology is radically different because of the "C" word, what would happen if you found yourself face-to-face with your "opponent"?
Let us say that providence brought two of you together at a social event.
Unless the both of you were complete cads, and avoided each other, how would you treat your "erring" brother?
Would the same vitriol, insults, and cutting remarks that often accompany conversation on the BB be continued in person or would you find yourself being kind and considerate?
Do you think that direct human interaction will somehow cause you to connect with the other person in a way that cannot be done on a message board?
And if that is true, why would we be one way online and another way in person?
Is that not, well, hypocritical?
By the way, I am including myself when I ask these questions.
I would like to think I am the same in person as I am online, but I realize that I sometimes allow emotions to hold sway here on the BB; something that I am less prone to do face to face.

It would be similar for me.
I have two friends who are members on baptistboard and they can testify that we get pretty heated at times.
I think we worry too much about all the "vitriol".
Most of us need to just "man up."

Unless you typed in white font, I still count once.
No, you didn't. All you said is "My behavior towards you is as it should be. "

Well, maybe when you're a big boy, you'll be able to count higher than that.

Its still apparently a 100% improvement over your skills.
Funny you didn't reply to the rest of the post.
Hurts to get caught in bold faced lies, huh?

I have numerous Calvinist friends. We are all aware of the other's stances and discuss our doctrines and beliefs often. Most of us remain unswayed
in our beliefs, but still can fellowship without animosity or unnecessary attacks. I do not doubt their salvation and have found them to be some of the most passionate intelligent Christians I know. They teach the same salvation and view the Great Commission as I do and also hold to the same doctrines I do with exception of predestination. None of us tolerate bashing whether we disagree with the person or not.

You mean the part of the thread where you just repeated what I already responded to?
You mean the part where you refused to answer the question, but just dismissed it by saying, "My behavior towards you is as it should be"?

In all honesty, we should post to each other the same way we would want to be posted to. I have dropped the ball many times on here, myself, so I am pointing three fingers at myself first. But none of us has always been cordial to our fellow Brethern , imo. The sad part is we could always post this way, but choose not to....:tear:

The problem is that we have this hippy-sweet paradigm we try to plug modern Christianity into.
We think men ought to be almost effeminate in Christianity today.
We hate confrontation and we are overly worried about everybody's "feelings".
Christianity is not always syrupy sweet.
We don't always have to be nice.
And even with those we love dearly, we can and often OUGHT to be fiercely blunt.
If it is a true Christian friendship it will survive and thrive because of it.
If your friendships require everybody to be sweet to you all the time, your friendships are not worth a dime- and.. you are a girl.

Something tells me that webdog and JD will have absolutely no problem being the same with each other in person as they are here on the BB.

Probably true.
I have zero tolerance for lying.
My kids know it is a spankable offense.
Irrelevant anyway.
He's already on record as wanting nothing to do with any of us.
