    PW,
    Well who woulda thought!
Amen! Red is the ONLY color for a corvette.
I keep telling my church how good I would look driving around in one (with pastor stickers on the bumpers), but they don't seem to have bought into the idea yet.

They should consider the positive aspects:
1)I could arrive at emergenices quicker.
    2)I could out-run mooses.
3)I could drive right under mooses if one is standing on the road.

    Pastor Bob

I drive a 1997 Oldsmobile Achieva SL 4 Dr, 2.4L Twin Quad... Navy Blue in color! I dream as I'm cruising down the road that I'm in a red vette but those stand out like a sore thumb in Sunny San Diego California and the police love red! Kind of like waving a red cape in front of a bull! The best thing about driving my car is... Its Paid for!... Now if I only knew how to surf!
You know what they call a 56 year old fat man on a surf board in San Diego... Fast food!... Brother Glen :D

We have 2 Saturns which we just LOVE! Reliable & affordable -- what more could you ask for? :D (i'm starting to think that maybe our family should be in the Saturn car commercials because my mother-in-law just picked up HER new Saturn this afternoon  )

    God bless,

I drive a 88 Taurus wagon. Anything that runs is OK with me. Back in the 80s, when I lived in Miami, I bought a 75 Dodge Dart for $100.00, drove it for 4 years, and when it wouldn't run any more, sold to a junk dealer for $100.00. I guess you could say that it never depreciated the whole time that I owned it.

Thanks for posting the link to your car, Jeff. I enjoyed seeing it. That looks similar to the Hudson Hornet (though perhaps a little larger) that dominated stock car racing in the early 50s.

I think a Hudson Hornet was a wee fraction larger. I think mine is the twin to the Hudson Wasp. I'm going on sight from seeing them side by side at car shows. My folks had a Hudson Wasp when I was a kid, but don't remember much about it. My Nash however is a cavern inside. It will seat 6 very comfortably. And we have had folks stop at church to visit on several occasions because of that car sitting in the parking lot.

They say the Hornet was a good race car because it was built lower to the ground than other cars and was thus less top-heavy. As a result it got through the turns better than other cars of the time & was tough to beat. Yours looks as though you might "step-down" into it when you enter. Anyway, it looks very clean & if I drove by it, I'd definitely do a double take!!!

Ephesians: ha-ha! Love your ride! [IMG]

And I love my Jeep (silver Grand Cherokee 2002). This is my second Jeep (turned in 1997 black GC). Silver keeps cleaner than black. This 2002 has a sunroof and CD player (options I forgot to get last time). So now I can blast out & sing (groovin') to Ivan Parker and be sitting up high like an 18-wheeler (?)! Ain't God good? :D

Like I said, Ephesians 432, the Hudson Hornet was built lower to the ground. I think it had more horsepower too!!! :D

I drive a 93 Ford Explorer with no A/C and the motor in my window is broken, so with summer coming on, I'm praying that I can get a good breeze through the other windows. My mom is trying to talk my dad into buying something smaller with better gas mileage for me to drive and then when my sister turns 16 (by then I will have gotten a "real" job) she can drive it.

I drive a 95 Blazer 4x4. It is teal green and 2-door. I've had other 4x4's in the past and I like them best. ;) Susan

I use to drive my 82 Corvette that is Silver/Charcoal color but it sits at home right now. I have always wanted a red 'vette and one day, I plan on buying a red one after my kids get jobs and out of college. The transmission on my '82 'Vette has a problem though and you can drive forward in it just fine, however; you can't back it up as the reverse gear is messed up lol. I have been hit twice driving my 'vette though by people turning illegally from the center lane on one way streets and slamming into the right side of my car. I've had neck surgery due to the first accident and I was hit 6 months after my neck surgery by another person who decided they wanted to hit my car too. Fiberglass cars don't take wrecks too well I'll tell you. Until I get my 'Vette fixed, I'm driving a Blue/Sandalwood 2002 Trailblazer. Its nice but I miss driving my 'vette  .My husband drives a 1994 Red Camaro, our daughter drives a 1998 black RS T-Top Camaro, and our son has a Blue 2002 Trailblazer too. He liked mine so much, he wanted to trade in his 2000 Silverado P/U and he paid the difference so that the note would remain what it was on his truck. Actually, I should have given him my vehicle and taken his truck because he had it fixed up nice! It was blue with white racing stripes, bedliner, bedcover, brush guard, side window vents painted to much his truck etc. We are definately fueling the nation's economy! They'll have to make sure I live a lot longer so that they will get all their money we owe for these vehicles.I can't wait to pay off daughter's car this December 'cause 3 car notes are a killer!!I know, we could have bought our kids used vehicles but I wanted them to have a dependable vehicle, (I say that tongue-in-cheek as my new vehicle is currently in the shop). I felt like the chances of a new vehicle breaking down weren't as great as an older vehicle.
