Hey you got chocolate in my peanut butter.
That's right. I like the good ole peanut butter cups. I aslo like chocolate covered strawberries. I have several rhymes that I use to help my students learn the note names. In treble clef, they say: Every Good Botwinick Deserves Fudge for the lines, Fat Albert Can Eat for the spaces. In the Bass Clef, they say: Good Botwinicks Deserve Fudge Always for the lines and All Cows Eat Grass for the spaces. Does anyone notice a pattern with the way I tend to teach. :D
By the time Christmas comes around, the kids don't have to guess what to get their favorite band director.

I've discovered Symphony bars.

I just realized I didn't tell ya'll the ones I like.
I only like Dark or White Chocolate. I can't stand milk chocolate!! To me taste and smells like spoiled milk (Esp. Hershey's chocolate bars.)
Have any of you tried the new M&M's? They are Dark Chocolate :D Finally I have an M&M that I like to eat -
DARK!
Rich chocolate flavor, not too sweet, slightly bitter. -

moeowo2,
This is in reference to your comments about not liking Hershey's Milk Chocolate. I have a book called "Tastings" by a chef named Jennifer Lang. It discusses in great detail "31 Pantry Basics and how they rate with 84 International Food Experts". One of the items they tested was chocolate.
There's a very good reason Hershey's Milk Chocolate tastes and smells like spoiled milk to you. The book explains that the Hershey's milk chocolate bar is made with dairy that is (intentionally) slightly 'curdled' or 'ripened'. It has what experts call a 'barnyard taste' from the oxidation of the dairy.
This gives the chocolate a bit of a 'gamey' or 'tangy' flavor.
I never liked it either and always wondered what it was about the taste of Hershey's that wasn't quite right. When I read this the first time it was an 'aha!' moment.
(The book also says "Many Europeans, used to a different style of chocolate find this highly offensive. Americans, obviously are fond of it.")
I'm a bittersweet dark chocolate man myself. Lindt Swiss Bittersweet Fine Dark Chocolate is what I buy for chocolate snacking. -
Yuck!!! No wonder I've never liked Hersheys
Lindt does make some excellent chocolate. I need to try the one you are talking about.
-
make mine Dove Dark!
-
I like dark the best.
-
Oh boy I guess this will sound snooty ;)
I like Swiss Milk Chocolate Tobleron or Toblers
but I like the chocolate on a Dove ice cream
bar or a Haggen Dazz bar.
Talk about temptation!
What was that dessert ...Death by Chocolate
yeah I want to go that route. ;) -
Godiva dark chocolate is very good also. I get it at Barnes and Noble bookstore in Duluth, MN.
-
Heggy's chocolate is the best, then Hary London's.
-
OOPS!! thats suppose to be Harry Londons..
-
Dark chocolate!
Ghiradelli Baking Bars--they're great!
Did you know that chocolate (dark) is as potent a cancer fighter as brocolli? My teacher told me that. -
Well I tell ya right now I like those Hersheys with Almonds Cookies! My hubby and I were at Wal-Mart last week and we seen a package (with 4 cookies) and figured we'd give them a try. Let me warn ya......4 cookies is not enough!
