    A Majority reformed are, but there are also some Post Mils and pre Mils!

    I was glad when I bought my first two Scofield bibles...some of the notes seemed helpful as a young believer....later I used them to demonstrate how a sincere believer could get off track.
    I did not have much to contrast with it so I was just trying to absorb what I could..

    :(

    Through many decades of personal study and prayer I came to what I call the "Minimalist" position.

    There are 3 "dispensations."


    Do you view that as fulfilling in part...rom8?

    18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

    19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

    20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,

    21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

    22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

    23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

    You do not have a problem with the Lord of Glory dwelling on the earth with unsaved who remain in rebellion?

    Well of course not, but...who do you see as being physically here on earth? at that time? who goes into the preview of the eternal state?

    where do you see the romans 8 verses?

    What led you to depart from Dispensational teachings?

    The same thing that led me to depart from Pelagianism, reading my Bible.

    I departed from "Traditional Dispensation Theology" and became a "Progressive Dispensation Theology" advocated after I looked into traditional dispensation's biblical basis. The alarm bells started ringing for me, while sitting in church. The Pastor, at an effort for humor, took a swipe at the children's son "Father Abraham." I was familiar with the song because we used it regularly in AWANA.
    It says believers are children of Abraham. Father Abraham has many children, I am one of them and so are you.

    After reading and rereading Galatians Chapter 3, I became convinced that the view that we were not children of Abraham and heirs just like the believers with a Jewish blood line was totally wrong and racist.

    I think that none of us here are Apostles, so quite sure we all have some theology not quite on the mark!
