    I have seen abuse in families in my church, but it was not condoned by church leadership, who intervened on behalf of the abused. That is the way it should be.

    Yes..your right...but the leadership in this particular one is still in place...even after all the attrocities. Its enough to cause a person to throw in the towel. I don't know anymore...why is such sin left unabated. God is our only true joy . Could not live a day w/o Him.

    I can see how that is discouraging, and it would even make me want to take things into my own hands. But I know one of these days, the great reversal is coming that Luke is good at portraying. God's justice might run slow in our minds sometimes, but it is coming.
