By the way, I wonder what ever happened to the Ark, was it in the Temple when the city was destroyed in 70AD?
Revelation 11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

Yet isnt that future tense Hank?
It says "was opened" not "will be opened" although from John's point of view it was happening as he was reporting it. On the other hand you could be correct that he might have been transported through time and space to see the event in the future so I guess we can't know for sure.

My take is that John saw it there in heaven in the here and now of his day (post AD70, around AD90) and that it is still there today.
