Is it made of the dust of the earth like Adam's body? Or where else does it come from if not from there? Please elaborate. Thanks in advance for any and all answers. Please keep this civil!!! :praying::praying:

The earth and the breath of God.

Please elaborate. I think you were describing where the "inner" and "outer" man came from. Is this what you were saying? Thanks for your response, Brother. -
I was born from my mother... no dust or dirt

We came from nothing that God created out of nothing.
I am just utterly amazed about everything that I have to stand back and say WOW!!
How everything is made up of all these different molecules placed together held together by God and how each object held together serves different functions to ultimately take care of us.
How we can not live on our own without consuming other molecules held together like water and food.
We are not self-sufficient, that we are created in need from the beginning. -
Gen 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

The "dust of the earth" seems to indicate the elements. We all come from the same elements, arranged by God who knits together those common elements while we are within our mother's womb.
God created a very natural process, but it is according to His plan, and the more we learn of the intricate workings of organic life the more we should get on our face before Him in worship. More so, we are not merely organic. We are alive and possess a soul -- made in the imago dei -- the very breath of God to live, and yet we are not completely alive unless or until we become justified and regenerated through Christ. -
(Gen 3:19) In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. -
For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You,When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them. -
The first man [is] of the earth, earthy:
As [is] the earthy, such [are] they also that are earthy:
And as we have borne the image of the earthy,
God breathes into the earthy and the earthy becomes living soul. Living in the context of building data of a person usually named.
When the breath returns to God the living soul becomes dead, meaning quits building data and what came from the earth returns to the earth over time.
David is both dead and buried and his sepulchre is with us unto this day. and he saw corruption. His soul is laying dead in the sepulchre (Hades) and his body which came from the earth returned to the earth.
David speaking of the resurrection of Jesus.
That the soul of Jesus was not left in hell (Hades), neither his flesh did see corruption.

There is no dust or dirt there. -

preachinjesus is right.
We do share some of the same elements in our bodies as dirt does, but the "recipe" is different. Dirt is mostly silicon and oxygen and we are mostly oxygen and carbon. But then again, God created His unfathomably massive universe and everything in it from just a relatively small amount of elements that He also created.
We turn back into dust after we die - as the Bible says, not because we are created from dust, but because our decomposed bodies share similar chemical traits with dust.
Adam was created from dust. Eve was created from a bone that was created from dust. The rest of us, as preachinjail said, are created by God via the materials in our mothers' bodies and according to His will via the DNA that He miraculously provided by both parents.

2 Samuel 11:
26 When Uriah’s wife heard that her husband was dead, she mourned for him. 27 After the time of mourning was over, David had her brought to his house, and she became his wife and bore him a son. But the thing David had done displeased the LORD.
2 Samuel 12:
7 Then Nathan said to David, “You are the man! This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you from the hand of Saul. 8 I gave your master’s house to you, and your master’s wives into your arms. I gave you all Israel and Judah. And if all this had been too little, I would have given you even more. 9 Why did you despise the word of the LORD by doing what is evil in his eyes?
Proverbs 22:6
6 Start children off on the way they should go,
and even when they are old they will not turn from it.
Proverbs 3
Wisdom Bestows Well-Being
1 My son, do not forget my teaching,
but keep my commands in your heart,
2 for they will prolong your life many years
and bring you peace and prosperity.
3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.
4 Then you will win favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man.
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.[Or will direct your paths]
7 Do not be wise in your own eyes;
fear the LORD and shun evil.
Ephesians 6:4
Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.
2 Timothy 3:
10 You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance, 11 persecutions, sufferings—what kinds of things happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra, the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them. 12 In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, 13 while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, 15 and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God[Or that you, a man of God,] may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
How was the sin with Bathsheba fashioned for David? -
Here is a list of the known elements that make up we humans. This is the stuff that God uses to build our cells, our DNA, RNA, protiens, fats, acids, etc.
It is how God, who caused each of these elements to be by His spoken word, designed and arranged their order, including the many critical chemical bonds, oxidizers, reagents, etc., that allow for the utterly amazing human cellular structure with its micro-machines that defy human engineering, which God further unites into a living, growing, entity called a human being come to be that is the grand miracle. -
Correct. However, Jesus' soul(Spirit) never died. His flesh died, when He commanded His Spirit/Soul back into God's hands. Then on the third morning, His Spirit(Soul) went back into His body, and it came forth victorious of death, hell, and the grave. But His Soul/Spirit never died. I see mankind as being soul and flesh, and I think you see mankind as soul, spirit, and flesh, correct? -
This is a very well thought out post. I really like this one. Very good indeed.:thumbsup:::thumbsup::thumbsup:
