One of my sons and I took the sled dogs for a run on Friday. We still have lots of snow (Northern Maine)and are to get 4-6 inches more today. Anyone for a sled dog ride next week?
Where is Spring?

Spring is teasing us here in Oklahoma. Warm, hot, and cold, but we do have beautiful flowering trees and no snow.
The storms are beginning, but fortunately for us they missed us by a few miles and we got to enjoy the Outdoor fair yesterday.

Shiloh, We have got it here in England. The sun is out, it is warm, not hot the birds are singing and the bees are humming and the garden is really coming to life, with lots of things making there entrance, emerging through the soil to colour the beds and scent the air. Yes, spring is here and it was worth waiting for.

Spring has sprung here in Pennsylvania! I just picked my first batch of asparagus from the garden, Ummmmmm, I love eating it when it's just picked. In fact, I love it any way I can get it!!!

Spring must be here!!! I have blooming calla lilies in my front window!!!
-
Mmm, calla lilies.
It's pretty springy here. It rained for about an hour today (April showers), then the sun came out and it was very nice. I've got my windows open, and it's actually a bit chilly. I think it was in the low 60s today. It's been a very nice few days. -
Spring is in the air. We had a baseball game this evening. Lawn chairs filled the park and children ran free. What a way to rap up a Monday.

Should I mention we in Alabama have been in the 80s for a few days now?

Dawn: In a word, NO! :D
Spring is here one day and gone the next. I think we will probably skip it again this year and go right into summer.
Blessings,

That's how it is here too Sue, it's here one day and gone the next. This happens every year around this time. I try not to take all the blankets off the beds too early, or clean out the closets of Winter cloths. Its' hard to know when the warm weather will be more consistant.
But the birds are singing and the trees have their leaves now, and the fruit trees have already bloomed. So spring is here, even if it feels like Summer one day and Winter the next.
God Bless You,
Charlotte -
It's 70 degrees here today, and the azaleas in my yard are blooming. Spring is in the air!
Shiloh, do you have huskies or malamutes? We had a Siberian Husky named Juneau, best dog we ever had. He was a big dog, but very polite, and almost dainty in the way he moved and conducted himself. Sled dogs make wonderful companions. -
Spring is definitely here, because tomorrow night I'm going to Edison Field to see the Angels vs Yankees!!

Today is sweater weather here in Southern California. There is a big storm brewing and we are supposed to get more rain. And after that one passes there is another one just off the coast. Lauren (4) just put her ice cold hand on my cheek. She just came in from being outside. It's only 4:41 pm and it's a bit brisk and breezy outside.
I hope the storm doesn't make it to Orange County John, that would be a shame for your game to get rained out.

Last Saturday and Sunday (Easter) it was in the seventies - today rain, in the fifties - tomorrow, snow in the forties if we're lucky.
In upstate New York - I'd say we've only been teased with spring - personally - I'm tired of the blah weather. -

Looks like it won't rain tonight, but the stiff breeze is making it seem colder than it is. I was watching last night's game on TV (which is really amusing... I can see the "Big A" from my front balcony), and you could see how the wind would actually catch the balls and change their trajectory. Made for a frustrating game, though enjoyable.
Anyhoo, it's pushing 2:30 here, and I'm leaving work in about an hour to meet some church folks for a pre-game dinner. -
Sounds like fun. Hope you have a good time. Bundle up. Watching a baseball game in the cold makes for a miserable time.
