Where is the Gospel in Acts 2 as the Calvinists preach it?

The solution here is not so difficult and mysterious. I think you as a thinking person know exactly what I am speaking about, don't you.

Calvinism seeks to provide a biblical solution that Intergrates all the verses together. It does not leave out....apparent difficulties.

Non cal theology does not [for the most part] seek the same level of intergration as we see often here on BB.

If a verse says ,world, or all.......non cals trip all over themselves to say...well my bible says all means all...so no sense looking beyond that:thumbsup: It said it here, it must mean that there:laugh:

Those who abuse these verses, when pressed cannot give any serious explanation that would offer any consistency to their ideas.

When Jesus said it was finished on the cross.......How did that DRAW anyone at all in the rainforest, or in the north pole......or siberia? How at that time did any man outside of the middle east be drawn...many died that very year without hearing the name Jesus.

An honest treatment of those verses does not allow for a simpleminded Pollyanna, like response...well my bible says he will draw all men.

I was merely responding to your post that there are NO reasonable answers to that question from a non-cal perspective. Why defensive? I was not in the least implying that you didn't "know" some things, or that only I might...I was simply saying there ARE, in fact, answers, and if you have never heard them...you might want to look further, as I have heard numerous possibilities myself.
Really, one can only judge those answers by whether or not they are consistent with their over-all theology or not. I also stated that there are more than simply one answer to the question provided by intelligent and consistent 5-pointers too. You recognize this do you not? If so, it stands to reason that a 5-point perspective doesn't automatically solve the problem, as the provided answers are not always the same. I am merely stating that there are, in fact, very many possible responses from a non-Cal perspective.

I do not know what possesion of a Strong's has to do with it, and if we are ever able to meet and discuss it, by all means bring yours....I have 3 of them myself, and a Young's, so I am more than happy to let you borrow one.

Of course it does...and although I don't agree with it, I am willing to admit it does a rather fine job of it. I only tend to take umbrage at the idea that NO OTHER system does a decent job as well...They do.

Point being, I only concluded that you might possibly be unfamiliar with some very reasonable responses because you claimed there WERE NONE in your post. That being your claim...there are only two possibilities if, in fact, alternative explanations do exist:

1.) There are, said explanations, and you have possibly not been familiarized with them....(What I suggested).

2.) You are familiar with them and were being dis-honest and disingenuous...Should I have called you a liar? Why would I? I have no reason to assume you are. Thus, I concluded, it was more likely option 1. No one was insulting your knowledge or intelligence.
