Other than the Roman Catholic and Orthodox Bibles, are there any other versions that contain 1 Maccabees?
What is the case for not including 1 Maccabees in the Canon? I was told that the books in the Apocrapha did not make direct reference to God and were not included because of that, yet I read it and it seems to me exactly the opposite, so what was the reasoning, surely the rebellion against the Greeks and the reintroduction of the Hebrew Temple worship was worth noting?
Which Bibles contain the books of Maccabees?

RSV and Latin Vulgate

Not all RSVs contain Maccabes or any other Apocryphal books. I have an RSV that is a Protestant bible, i.e. no Apocrypha.

This leads me to another question, but I will make a new thread.
