Nevertheless, could you clarify what information you have that allows you to make this extremely insulting and arrogant accusation against a United States Senator?

Joshua,
What do you think qualifies one to be a committed Christian?? Perhaps that would be the key thing to decide here.
The lifestyle and evidences of Hillary Clinton do not seem to line up with the fruits that the Bible says are a part of the believer's life. One can claim to be anything. But when they claim to know him and do not do what he commands, they are liars, as John said. Based on the fruit that has been demonstrated, there is no reason to believe that HRC is a committed Christian. While we should not hold her responsible for her husband's sin, she has had plenty of opportunities to demonstrate her Christiainity and has failed to do so. I think the burden of proof is on you. The obvious evidence leads away from your conclusion. -
Paul tells us in Romans: Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound...What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
I don't know what the Clintons do in private but what they do in public isn't in any way indicative of someone who's been regenerated by the Holy Spirit.
If she's not a Christian, then she needs Jesus desperately. If she is, then she needs to sit down and ask herself some serious questions about her walk with Christ. -

with God, all things are possible We can but pray that these things will happen.
We may not suppose who is , and who is not saved.
We can be sure God only knows these things. -
I...can't even imagine...it would may be tantamount to the fall of the Roman Empire...or..even more impressive...compare to the conversion of Paul? Only because it would open up soooooooo many ears of such a BIG population of lost souls like never before...
...gosh... </font>[/QUOTE]The Dalai Lama huh? Boy wouldn’t that throw Richard Gere (and a few more Hollywood heavies) philosophy right into the mud?
Fortunately, for all of us, God will judge all, including Hillary….
How can we escape? Have a great lawyer….. Jesus Christ…..
1 Cor. 11:31-32 For when we judge ourselves, we should not be judged, But when we are judged we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

You are certainly right that fruit production is not a requirement for salvation. But the Scripture teaches that fruit production is the inevitable result of salvation. It seems pretty clear on the abundance of NT passages that those who do not produce fruits of obedience are not believers. I am not sure on what basis you can disagree with that. -
I've heard both Bill and Hillary invoke God sufficiently enough to believe that they each have a relationship with Him. What kind of relationship is none of my business. Other than that, I'm not one to judge other peoples' salvation.
If Bill & Hillary Clinton were Republicans, I doubt we'd be having this conversation. I don't base my views on someone's salvation on their political affiliation. -
If you recall my question, it was about the scriptural basis you have for making such assertions and offering such assurances. The only thing you invoked here was your personal feelings (which are insufficient to evaluate Scripture or salvation) and someone political affiliation. My question is still about the scriptural basis you use to make such assertions.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.
1 John 2:4 The one who says, "I have come to know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him;
We could list more verses than this website would allow to support the basic concept that a believer lives like one. I am not sure what scriptural basis you are arguing your point on. -
Johnv, Republican does not equal Christian. The salvation or lack of it that anyone has is between them and the Lord, not us.
-
John,
It's not often I disagree with you but they can invoke God's name all they want. Even pagans do that.
Jesus said it's what kind of fruit they're producing that will give them away.
Are they producing fruit that's indicative of someone who's following Christ? -
I think the problem is not whether or not a sitting president has a relationship with God, but whether or not his relationship with God is good enough for us.
It usually isn't. -

I think it would be great if Dr Laura surrendered her life to the Lord Jesus Christ!
