As kyredneck (peace be upon him) likes to point out...I am a "troll". And as one...I can confidently say that, if this is a "troll" then it is not a very good one.
Watch and learn KitYoung...
A decent troll should know that this thread will die out quickly, in that Baptists are all in "one accord" on this one....Whoever this is, is probably not a Baptist, in that they should know that in order to get us Baptists spilling one another's blood one simply needs to start a debate about KJV or (more importantly) the relative superiority or inferiority of fried chicken recipes.
:tongue3: I think this particular "troll" is a Pentecostal or something and thus falsely assumes that this is a topic that is ever actually "debated" amongst Baptists.
 As if!!!!
The answer is (in short) the Word.
And I think I can confidently speak for almost everybody.
There is simply no point in which the Word will disagree with the Spirit, and if there is a disagreement, than it is the "Spirit" of something other than God which is speaking.
If this is merely a common "No true Scotsman" fallacy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_true_Scotsman regularly committed by us Baptists....we are o.k. with it, and we freely admit it.
