    Facebook said it will ban posts that have the confederate flag BUT promote Gays and their queer flag? Facebook know's whats best for us dumb folks now.

    Let me repeat that this flag that so many of you are defending ISN'T the Flag of the Confederate States.

    THe Battle flag of the Army of Northern Virginia that so many are defending was adopted specifically to show the KKK's opposition to integration.

    Neither have been placed up to fly every day.

    And the flag they are talking about flying ISN'T the Confederate Flag. The flag they want to fly was adopted by the KKK and white supremacists in opposition to integration.

    So if they choose to fly THAT flag, they choose to highlight the racism that so many already think they are displaying.

    Thanks for your input Salty. However, I didn't ask about the flags flying over any statehouse, but rather if any of the flags mentionsed were offensive when seen displayed in the public. Out her in Mexifornia, that flag is just about everywhere! It looks like you are living south of the border. The good thing is, I can take a trip to a foreign country with ging more than a mile or two! :smilewinkgrin:

    Considering what that regime did-- e.g., the Alamo and Goliad-- yes.

    That's what it's being used for. I thought that was the essence of the conflicts about the Confederate battle flag. But if you still want to argue that point and say it's about "pride," so is the battle flag. Anyway, pride in who one is has the opposite and equal pride in who one ain't.

    Here in the Salt City, we have a good size Hispanic Population (along with 2 Spanish SBC churches) so there are many flags flying.

    Yeah, that show of the Beverly Hillbillies is like the Dukes of Hazard, which was quite popular in its time. Strange how the country has changed.

    The rainbow flag is an attempt by the g@ys to attack Christians and it is no coincidence that the White House showed their true colors recently.

    Look for Obama to lead the charge on polygamy because if s0d0my is seen as natural by Obama, then polygamy has to be even more natural to him with his Islamic heritage.

    Hillary used the confederate flag in 2008 and that may be part of why she is slowly being dumped by the Dems.

    America just recognized Fidel, Raul, and Che, three of the bloodiest murderers ever in the Americas and all of the merchants are getting rich off of Che stuff.

    It seems that psychopathic murderers are popular with the Dems.
