Which GOP ticket would garner more votes in the general election? Does it matter which of these two is the lead candidate?

McCain - Romney
11 vote(s)68.8% -
Romney - McCain
1 vote(s)6.3% -
They would receive about the same
4 vote(s)25.0%

Any ticket with Romney on it is bad news. Bad choice.
-
Andy, do you see either one selecting the other?
I have kinda felt that McCain might pick Huckabee. -
-
If balance is what your looking for I am not sure that will be on the ticket this year. There does not seem to be much of it out there.
-
Do we want a balanced ticket with Romney, or a ticket where the two on it at least attempt to be honest?
-
How many of us actually, I mean really and truly, believe it matters, from an election standpoint, who the VP candidate is?
-
That would probably win against any combination on the Democratic ticket.
Regards, hope you and yours are well,

No that wouldnt surprise me, but I think I read something not too long ago where Lieberman ruled out this possiblity. But who knows...

Thanks.
Regards, FWIW, you and your ministry are in my prayers,

I looked for the article that I thought I saw regarding Lieberman ruling out a VP bid. But I cannot seem to find it, so maybe I am mistaken on that.

I don't remember seeing one in which he definitely ruled it out, but this one seems to go in that direction although the reporter took it as a joke.

Portsmouth, N.H. (CNSNews.com) - "I think John has much better judgment than that," Democratic Sen. Joe Lieberman of Connecticut jokingly told Cybercast News Service on Thursday when asked whether Sen. John McCain might name him his vice presidential candidate. Lieberman was stumping here for McCain, whose presidential bid he has endorsed. -
Lieberman rules out running with McCain
Associated Press - January 30, 2008 4:03 AM ET
WASHINGTON (AP) - Senator Joe Lieberman says he's "been there" and "done that" and will not be running again for vice-president.
Since Lieberman's endorsement of John McCain last month, speculation has persisted that he might join the ticket if McCain wins the GOP nomination.
The Connecticut independent ran on the Democratic ticket with Al Gore in 2000. He says if asked to run again, he would tell McCain no thanks, that McCain could find "much better."
Lieberman plans to be back on the road for McCain as the February 5th contests near.

I just heard yesterday that Bill O'Reilly thinks McCain would pick Romney as his VP. Not that that lends any credibility to my prediction. O'Reilly annoys me, and I'm conservative.

Personally, I think Romney would hurt a McCain run because of the tens of thousands of Christians like me who take God's word into account when casting a vote. Unbeliever? No,no. Pro-murder? No, no.
God Bless!
