Which "mainline Protestant denomination(s)" do you think most closely reflect B

    Which Baptist theology? The range is from pure free-will synergists who can lose their salvation to pure God's will monergists who believe God keeps his chosen ones.

    In that light you could go from Nazarene to Presbyterian and still be Baptist in theology.

    But there is quite a variety within the SBC -- everything from soup to nuts. Probably more of the latter. LOL

    That doesn't help. There are all the theologies I first mentioned in the SBC. They have been arguing for decades.
