My son is in bible college and I am surprised that they can use study bibles in some classes, as long as they are wide margin to take notes.
I get the feeling that some professors love to contradict some study bibles.

Out of print Believer's Study Bible or out of print Baptist Study Bible NKJV Bibles (basicly same Bible) are my first choice but they are very pricey on the used market.
MacArthur NKJV is my first choice of in print now.
Same in ESV is second.
I have the printed version also.
Got the bonded leather, but I think they ironed it to make it smooth and for 39 bucks, it was a great deal. I like those satellite maps also.
You mean it hasn't been settled with the thousands upon thousands of posts on the subject?
I wonder how many people have actually been persuaded to change their mind on the debate after reading arguments here?
I would be surprised if any.
