Zondervan published a 400th Anniversary Edition of the 1611 edition in 2011.
It is hardback and does not include the Apocrypha books.
It has the old Gothic type.
It was available at Wal-Mart's for a low price, and was available at Amazon.
Oxford University Press printed a 1611 reprint [Quatercentinary Edition] in 2010 that may still be available.
Yep...I got one of those and it is very interesting (and yes...difficult to read).Also....if you are ever in the Gatliburg Tenn. area there is a rare Bible and Book Museum in Sevierville operated by a BJU grad by the name of Michael Grant (very nice guy...and very interesting place) the name of the place is "Treasuring The Word" and he has a very interesting collection of rare Bibles one of which is (if I remember correctly) an original 1611 edition. My memory is a bit weak about it but it but it was VERY old and of that text-type. Mike has a website and here is the link to it...... www.treasuringtheword.org
It is a place I will definitely make a return visit to the next time I'm in the area!
