Who voted for GW Bush?

What is your beef with reality of "islamofascism?" You don't belive there is a faction of muslims that believe and act upon their beliefs of totalitarianism? What world are you living in?

Yeah, I don't think that has been allowed much in Texas since the year I was born (1948) with the election to the Senate of "Landslide Lyndon".

But "vote fraud" is a long tradition in some other parts of the country, where it is (both fairly and accurately) attributed to both parties, with some of the better known repositories of such shenanigans include North Carolina, Louisiana, South Florida, and probably, most notably Cook Co., IL, where the dead can and do still cast ballots, and the mantra long has been

'Hizzoner', the late Richard J. Daley, may have been the best remembered for uttering this phrase that was actually 'coined' by a Congressman Miles in Charleston, South Carolina, prior to the Civil War, but it was also spoken by other notable crooks, including Al Capone, and Richard Nixon, I believe, as well.

I did not vote for GWB in either election.

According to things he said in debates, he was not only not qualified to be president, he did not care about doing anything to address his intellectual deficiencies.

As I expected him to. Unlike a couple of other posters here, I think that Bush will be shown to be one of our worst presidents.

 

A. Not I. In 2000, I voted for Harry Browne, Libertarian & in 2004 for John Kerry, Democrat.

B. I thought these were the best people on the ballot for the job.

C. He is an abomination, the worst POTUS in history, by virtue of his lack of respect for 1. the Constitution, 2. his role, and 3. individual liberty.

 

a.) Voted for him twice (I should be shot for that)

b.) I believed him about restoring integrity to the White House and the nation.

c.) Rotten. The only thing I can say that he's done well, at least for the time, is SCOTUS nominees. And, one of those would never have been if Bush's 1st pick had not been shouted down by the public. Overall, he's been a very poor President.

I pray that we do not continue to repeat our mistakes by voting for those who would give lip service to liberty and Consitutional law while having their fingers crossed.

Vote for Ron Paul.

 

Personal preferences and opinions of the individuals notwithstanding, it is an extreme stretch for anyone of any POV to rate any one of the 11 individuals who have held the office of President of the United States during my lifetime of almost 60 years from President Harry S. Truman through President George W. Bush below such distinguished holders of that office such as Millard Fillmore, Franklin Pierce, James Buchanan, Ulysses S. Grant, and Warren G. Harding, not one of whom, on their best week in the White House, could begin to rise to the level of any of the last 11 on their worst week in the Oval Office!

I suspect, that had Vice-President Spiro Agnew not chosen to resign, and had become President after the resignation of Richard M. Nixon, the he might well have joined the five above, but fortunately, we shall never know, nor ever have to find that out, just as fortunately, we shall also never know what might have been the result had Franklin D. Roosevelt kept Henry A. Wallace as his V-P for his 4th term, instead of replacing him with Harry S. Truman.

President Henry A. Wallace and/or President Spiro T. Agnew are both really scary thoughts, to me.

I did not the first time GW Bush was elected.
I did the second time GW Bush was elected.

First time:
I figured that each family only gets one president.
No American dynasties

Second time:
GW Bush did a good job the first time

GW Bush performed good enough the first term
that I voted for him the second term.
GW Bush has served well the second term.

 

We are all entitled to our opinions. I stand by my rating of W. You name some bad ones, but he has them all beat, IMO.

I strongly opposed GW Bush in each election. I did not think he had the intellectual capabity to handle the job nor did I trust him. He used his religion to help him get elected and then came out with a statement that Muslims and Christians both worship the same god but they have different ways of getting to heaven.

1) Thereforefore, I voted for Gore and Kerry.

2) Not cabable of serving.

3) I believe him to be the worst American President certainly in my lifetime (since Ike) and very probably of all time.

 

Agreed. I voted for him the first time around because I believed he was my "brother in Christ." By the second time around, I realized the truth about him and his Muslim business associations, etc. (Carlysle http://www.judicialwatch.org/1685.shtml ) and how he want's to destroy Israel and give her land to terrorists, and that he is a globalist who does not respect our sovereignty as a nation or our borders.

 

A) i voted for GW Bush.

B) Because of his pro-life, anti-tax, anti big government platform and because of the Supreme Court spots that the next President would feel. He appointed pro-life ones and that is certainly not what Gore or Kerry would have done. Gore and Kerry would have, as they admitted, raised taxes.

C) How do you think he has performed? I think he's done well in most areas except for expanding the government. The war on terror changed his mind about our global activity and that's a very difficult topic to nail down in terms of what should have been done. I think going to Iraq in the longterm will be a good thing (like WW2).

I give him a B. Highlights include banning partial birth abortion, tax cuts, the department of homeland security and Supreme Court Nominees.

Jimmy Carter still holds the title of worst president. Especially when one considers that many of the problems bedeviling Bush internationally are a direct result of Carter's appeasement and incompetence.

Domestically, Bush hasn't even come close to the economic idiocy of Carter.
