Just wanted to find out who is a NASCAR fan and who your driver is. Who will win the cup? What about the Busch series? Who will get the 11th place spot in the cup? I hope there are enough fans out there to get a good discussion going on. Maybe the best way to start this is to say I'm for Jr. all the way.

Who will win the cup?
Jeff Gordon (but I wouldn't mind seeing Dale Jr. or Mark Martin win)
What about the Busch series?
Martin Truex, Jr. (I am hoping Kyle Busch can catch him)
Who will get the 11th place spot in the cup?
Jamie McMurray (I want Kasey Kahne to catch him, but he would have to make up almost 200 points) -
Those are all great picks!! I must be one of the only Jr. fans that doesn't mind when Jeff Gordon wins. There are only a couple of drivers I don't like and those are Stewart and Robby Gordon. I have pulled for Harvick McMurry and Kahne in the past, and also feel there is good talent coming up in the Busch series. I pulled for Vickers last year in Busch, but he's had a tough start in his Nextel career. He's improving though.

I think the "chase" formula they are now following is tailor made for Jeff Gordon. He is the one driver who can win at any track on any week. I think he'll win the championship.
My favorite driver? I started following NASCAR in 1975 and Richard Petty was THE MAN. I still follow his teams and always check to see where they qualify and how fast they were in "Happy Hour". Unfortunately for the Pettys, the sport has changed and they have been unable to keep up. I don't expect them to return to prominence. So, I root for anybody in a Dodge which usually means Ryan Newman, Kasey Kahne, and Jeremy Mayfield. GO MOPAR!!! -
I like Jimmy Johnson - but don't think he can make up the points that he is behind.
Otherwise - I'd like to see Jeff Gordon win.
I'd like to see Kasey Kahne come in 11th! -
A toothless southerner?

I'm rooting for Mark Martin but I think he is too far behind now. So my choice now is Kurt Busch.
