Why Cubans Are Defecting From the Republican Party

GOP is driving away another group who were strong GOP supporters in the past.

For decades, the backbone of the Republican Party in Florida was the Cuban-American vote. Cuban-Americans supplied not just votes, but candidates for the GOP. But now there is survey evidence that the group is split between the GOP and Democrats. The question is no longer if, but why.

Your concern for the party is noted and appreciated but in reality people come and go.

If they like the wooing of slick willy etc., uhhhh their choice.

I would go with reason #1 as most likely. These people probably have not lived in Cuba so cannot be rightly called "Cuban Americans" but instead are "Americans". I'll bet most of them were born here and have no idea what a country run by too much government is like.
