Why is our government allowing the President of Iran even enter this country? Why must the American tax payers foot the bill to protect him?
This guy is much more of a threat to our country and world peace than Saddam ever was. Is there a crisis of priorities here?
Why is our government allowing the President of Iran in this country?

Cuz we have a linguini spined government, worried only about retaining power. The population could suck eggs as far as any of them care. The American people who put them in power mean absolutely nothing to any of them.

That is just incredible to me. It is another sign that the UN either needs to be out of existence or in a country like Iran, not this one.
This sad excuse for a human is not worthy to set foot on American soil. -

I think even worse is why a university in our country is inviting him to speak. And they're supposed to be the smart people?

I am proud of the USA hosting the UN. If it is ever to serve its purpose, it must be in a stable country, not one where diplomats are taken hostage.
I say let the President of Iran see how a free society treats diplomats, versus the outrageous violation of international law perpetrated upon our embassy personnel in Tehran back on 11/4/1979. He may learn something first hand about liberty. I doubt it, but one can always hope. -

He was turned down to be able to go th ground Zero. I think they should have turned him down all together.

To add, because of diplomatic immunity they won’t be as much as patted down much like searched. -
I am torn. On one hand, I agree with Ken. This is the USA. However, this is the USA. One of our enemies is coming on our soil and will speak at one of our universities? Understanding and tolerance is not going to make this man stop hating us and stop funding those who terrorize us, nor will it make him stop his attempts to garner the ultimate military weapon to be used on the very soil he sets his foot on.
How is our tax dollars supporting his protection while here? Just curious. -

I think we should allow him.
I think we should not spend one red cent to protect him, though.
Although I have no problem surrounding his posse with marines to prevent them from doing something.
I say let him in, give him no security, and publish his itinerary in "Guns and Ammo" magazine. -
That's real Christian of you, rbell.

How many countries had Hitler invaded in 1938? Zero. Cannot we learn from history?
Really, I think we can find better ways to expose George Bush for what he is other than comparing him to Hitler or Ahmadinejad.
The post above about wishing harm to the President of Iran is not appropriate, either from a Christian standpoint or common sense standpoint. I believe Ken already made the point about the Christian view. There would be consequences we can only imagine if harm comes to this guy over here.
Once we let him in, it is up to us to see he is safe. The whole idea was not to let him in to start with. -
And I think that we can expose Ahmadinejad for what he is other than comparing him to Hitler.
This comparing of the national leaders of other countries that we don't like is really getting quite old. -
They probably cannot stop him attending?
One thing is for sure, if his attitude does not change he and his Country are going to cop for it. Even France say's war is inevitable if they do not back down from their nuclear program.
